Stopped through Barstow on the way to Vegas, read positive Unilocal reviews and gave it a try. We ordered party sized pizza, which was very large. Also got mafia bread and fried mushrooms. We only ordered one salad as they were 7.50 a person. If a patron is ordering a large pizza, I would think we would get a break on salad. The mafia bread was just ok, it was nothing spectacular, just plain old breadsticks with cheese on top. The pizza was good, everyone enjoyed the meal.

Excellent pizza and wings. Stuck overnite in Barstow due vehicle issues. They delivered to the hotel by the outlets. If I had a place like this at home, I wouldn’t make my own pizza n wings. Lg veggie & sausage pepperoni. Wings and Mafia bread. Pizza had plenty of simple tomato sauce and cheese. Toppings were just right. Wings were done very nicely. Crispy without being too dry and very bell sauced. Proper«Buffalo» wings. The mafia bread is probably the best«cheesy bread» I’ve ever ordered. Not usually a fan of the stuff. But this is good. Not too thick and the dipping sauce is a nice crushed tomato sauce. Would definitely eat pizza at Pizza Palace in Barstow again.

Could have sworn I left a review for this place when I visited it about three years ago. Well, since it appears that if I did review it was with somebody else. I must say at this time that it is a nice respite from a long drive. A locally run place that’s kept very clean and serves good food and pitchers of beer. You should stop by if you’re in Barstow.

Drove here after being stuck in traffic from Vegas, I was craving pizza and this place hit the spot. Bought a medium pizza, hot wings, mini cheese for my daughter and drinks, and it was very good. There are some arcades for the kids and parents to play, a salad bar if your into that, and the service is great. Very nice and friendly people.

Like others, we stopped on our way home from Laughlin for lunch. Do not be deceived by the outside as it looks pretty sketchy. The inside is clean if not a little dated. The lunch specials were a very good deal: $ 8.99 for personal pizza, all-you-can-eat salad bar, and drink, $ 10.99 from spaghetti with meat sauce, all-you-can-eat salad bar, cheesy garlic bread, and drink. The salad bar was very fresh and well kept. Plenty of food and we both had leftovers. People were very friendly. Lots of locals. I will stop here again.

We drive from CA to OK and back once a year, or so. Barstow is a very perfect place to stop for gas and a meal. I prefer the charm of Rt 66 in old Barstow, not the new outlet area. The problem is, the old town has dried up. Thank goodness we found this charming and delicious pizza place! We will make it a permanent stop. Like in the good old days, when you went OUT for pizza– you have an overflowing, well maintained salad bar, beer on a bottle or by the pitcher, delicious pizza at reasonable prices… and an old staple: the game room. There are a number of items on the menu besides pizza, if you are a crazy non pizza lover. I could eat good pizza every day! Toss in the clean restrooms, roomy dining area and friendly service, and you can’t go wrong! I recommend you drive on past the chains and sit down with your family to enjoy a meal and support one of the few remaining local businesses!

Stopped in on our way to Laughlin and this place was amazing! Resonably priced and delicious food! Came in close to closing but was greeted and waited on by helpful staff. Mafia bread was delicious! Will make this a regular stop when heading to the river!

Surprisingly it took a while to get back home from Vegas on a Monday afternoon…3 hour drive from there to Barstow and we were hungry! I was craving pizza and found Route 66 pizza on Unilocal.Long story short no regrets having pizza there! We ordered a 10″ pepperoni and sausage pizza with extra sauce. Very yummy pizza, but more cheese would’ve been better. Clean restaurant and friendly staff. Hope to be back to Route 66 pizza for a drive break!

Tuesday | June 30, 2015 Found this authentic looking place on the way to Arizona. They have delicious FRESH pizza’s! It’s not fast food, but it’s really good food. Granted, it was around 3pm. Totally worth waiting a few minutes. I would go back if I lived here. On Tuesday, the second pizza is $ 1.99! Sunday — Thursday Open 11am-9pm Friday & Saturday Open 11am-10pm Salad Bar Open 11am-8pm $ 7.50

Just had a birthday dinner there. I have been before, but the pizza was inedible! Salad bar was good but $ 7.50 for a salad is ridiculous! The family special plus drinks was over $ 40, left feeling like it was a giant waste of money. Only plus side was the hot wings!

Pizza Palace was recommended by the front desk at our hotel because they routinely deliver pizza directly to the guest rooms. Since it was 106 degrees out at dinner time, we decided to have pizza delivered. We had a medium pepperoni pizza(around $ 12), and were told we needed to order something else as well to qualify for delivery, so we got the fried chicken tenders($ 6). There was a $ 4 delivery charge. The food arrived at our room warm – not hot. The pizza was OK. It was about the same quality as a Domino’s original crust pizza. The chicken tenders were nice and meaty, but had too much black pepper in the breading. Our total cost with tax, tip, delivery charge, and the food was $ 30.

I am a pizza lover so when I came here I really enjoyed every bite. I went there for lunch hour and got the small pepperoni pizza and the salad. The pizza was really good and my friend for the spaghetti with meat sauce and that was really good. I would definitely go back for more.

Decent pizza, average salad bar. First time I tried this pizza– wonderful! Then this last time it was not the best. Too much sauce. Not a lot if cheese. Both times girl behind the counter seemed pissed off.

Blue collar pizza joint with surprisingly decent pizza and a matching salad bar. The salad bar had only iceberg lettuce and the typical fixings. I call it blue collar b/c it’s all you can eat salad for $ 5.50 if you use the same plate and do not share as they reiterated on handwritten notes on paper taped to every hard surface imaginable. The salad bar also had macaroni and potato salad. Pizza was warm, flat and cheesy. The sausage topping which we didn’t get looked especially tasty. I had many opportunities to look at our neighboring booth’s pizza as they«parented» their 4 children for being hyper although they were pumping soda into them. Small game area in the back included air hockey, a few arcade games and many candy dispensers.

Great find if your going thru Barstow or staying the night in Barstow. It is a classic restaurant of yesteryear. It reminded me of a classic Italian pizzeria with bits from all decades over the last 60 years. I had the ½ spaghettini and half ravioli, which had enough left over for lunch the next day. It came with garlic cheese bread and small salad. With ice tea and a beer for under $ 17 Give this blast from the past a try, they are doing some upgrades so it will be better within the next month or so. Great family place or date night.
