I’ve boarded at a few places and this is by far the best. The owner is wonderful and the grooms are GREAT. Clean, friendly and my horse is very well cared for. This place is a hidden treasure!

This barn has one of dirtiest viewing rooms I’ve come across. The stench of urine is almost overwhelming when you enter the barn. The paddocks are small. The barn is not heated. I would advise to keep looking, there’s much better out there for the same price. The other review is obviously from the owner.

If you are looking for a well run, clean, safe place to board your horse for a fair price without having to drive out into «corn country», call Forest Trails.
This well kept, quiet boarding facility is family owned, operated and occupied. It is nice to know that your horses have someone there with them 24÷7÷365. The owners are very active «horse people» that are more than qualified to run a boarding operation.
The amenities include: 70×140 indoor arena, 100×200 outdoor arena with lights for night riding, outdoor round pen, dry paddocks, small medical paddock, and large grass pastures for group turnout. Turnout is 6 days a week, and is NOT an extra charge.
Extras include several jumps and trail obstacles for use, and a trail to ride on right off the driveway. You don’t even have to cross the street! The barn feeds Nutrena products, and quality hay.
