I like the gutters as far as leaves go. I now have ice build up, making entryways dangerous with thick ice. Long story short, Fred is really hard to reach. I believe he is the owner too so no one to complain to about poor customer service once they have your money. I finally spoke with him about getting the heaters for the gutter ice a weeks and a half ago. Need a quote for that but ready to give up and just use messy salt AGAIN this winter. Too bad too as I had been telli g neighbors how good this product is. Because of poor communication I let my friends and neighbors know about it, so he LOST a possible 3 customers. One already got the o e u see on TV and they love it. No ice! I’m sorry I did not research more!

I recently purchased a 2-flat that I knew had to have a new roof and gutters. I had gotten several bids from general contractors before I ran across a Mastershield booth at the garden show at Navy Pier. I thought it would be a good ideal to get a bid from someone who specializes in just one area. Fred Williams, the Mastershield representative, came out and analyzed my gutter problem. He pointed out things that the general contractors did not and gave me some really good recommendations along with a good quote. Unfortunately, the roof needed to be done first. He recommended Ameribuild saying that he had been working with them for 8 years. He said that could have someone stop by that day to analyze my roof and give me a quote. I was a little hesitant, but thought what did I have to lose. The Ameribuild representative stopped by that evening and the next morning I had a straight forward but detailed quote in my e-mail inbox from Fred. Not only was the roof estimate one of the best I had, but Fred dropped the cost of the gutters because they could be installed by Ameribuild. After checking both credentials, I hired them for the job. I am very pleased with the honest professional service that I received and felt that Fred extended background in gutters truly made the difference between an\ good enough job to a excellent job done.
