Sam’s Grill & Pizza

I love this place so much. The owners are awesome. I am a sucker for creative twists on classics but they have to be done right. This place will not disappoint. The fries are fresh cut and some of the best I’ve had. The Indian inspired dishes are my favorite. I’m making a trip to Bartlett next week just to try more from the menu. This place is a gem.

Update: Not only do I love Sam, but now I love his son.
Seriously– if you’re having a bad day, go here. Both Sam and his Son have energy, the gift to gab and smile to help to make anyone feel better. AND, the food is good.
Both gentlemen try to talk me into trying their fried Twinkie… but I cannot. I cannot fall in love with another thing that will make me fatter. I’m sure it’s amazing.

We ordered the Pav Bhaji pizza as well and it was as good at the Chicken Tikka. My only hope is that one day they will decide to make Paneer Tikka pizza so my vegetarian family members can enjoy it.

Awesome food and amazingly friendly service. I recommend sams to all of my friends and they love it as much as me!

Great specialty and regular pizzas, wings, sandwiches. Awesome burgers. Everything is super delicious.

This place is awesome. Just tried the Jalapeño Burger and Loaded Fries. Both were excellent. Fast and friendly service as well. Give this place a try for sure!

Food was great but found a nail in my food. Workers refused to take responsibility saying they knew every nail in the store and didn’t recognize the one in my food. Never going back.

The food here is unique and amazing. They have all the American standards plus they have options with a twist. There is nothing better than well prepared food and this place take the time to do it right.
There is only a small eat in area so with a group it is better to take it to go.

Really cool ideas in the place. The tandoori chicken pizza is ridiculous! The wings are excellent too. Definitely a place to try and go back to.

I was in the mood for wings and I didn’t not want to drive anywhere in this cold. I looked up places near me and Sams is only 1 mile away and had great reviews.
I call to place an order for pick up and the gentle man on the phone was very polite and answered all my questions. I had a few since it was my first time ordering from them. He said it would be 25 minutes because they were working on a catering order which I thought was not a bad wait. I ordered 24 buffalo wings with a side of loaded fries.

We get our order n omg the wings are so juicy and tasty! And the fries where too I will definitely be coming again for the dining experience

My husband and I were craving wings but I did not wanted to take a drive to a BWW that is a little far from us and well it was late, so I looked up wings near me and Sam’s came up we decided to give them a try and OMG! Best wings ever, first of all the wings are huge and second they are delicious, we have only tried buffalo and parmesan garlic. The guy at the register was so nice and attentive, he even had sauces on the bag without me asking for them. Will be definitely coming back here for more wings and other delicious things on their menu.

Menu selection is very confusing but they have above average food. I come here because I love the home cut fries. I’ve tried a bunch of things on the menu including the pizza all were good. Wish they had a daily special

We went there all the way from palatine and the place got closed an hour before its regular time. There were about 5– 6 people sitting inside but nobody had a courtesy to open the door and serve their customers! Bummer!
Food it great but if you don’t get to eat it then what’s the point!

Having Sam’s less than a minute from our house is really dangerous. Their burgers are THE BEST! Their wings are also awesome. We haven’t found a thing at Sam’s we don’t love. Definitely one of the best spots in Bartlett

After recently moving to the area from Chicago, (a.k.a. Food Heaven!), we found ourselves craving unique food establishments, rather than the typical food chains.
Today, I was looking for a good burger and fresh-​cut fries and I came across Sam’s Grill.
I have to tell you… YUM!
My cheeseburger and fries were AWESOME and exactly what I was looking for. I’ll definitely return… looking forward to trying the Tandoori Chicken.
Also, make sure you meet Sam. He is a sweetheart and one of the friendliest business owners I have ever met.

UPDATE — 4÷6÷2015. Sam’s offers deliveries on the weekends now. We have ordered delivery now a couple times and both times received our food promptly from a very chill and polite delivery boy. The delivery offer is a godsend because now I can order on those lazy weekend days when I’m too hungover to think about driving.
I’ve eaten more or less everything off the menu at this point and it’s all great. The hickory burger and Jalapeño Cheddar Burger are my favorites. and OH MY GOD the buffalo wings are perfect. It’s still all about the Chicken Tandoori and mexican pizza’s though.
On top of everything, Sam is one of the most sincere and kindest restaurant owners I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. He always makes you feel extremely welcome the second you walk into his restaurant. My only regret of ordering delivery is not getting to stop in and say hi!

I’ve been holding off reviewing this place for a bit because I wanted to try a lot of their stuff, but upon eating the Chicken Tandoori Pizza last night, i can no longer stay silent.
It was among the finest pies I have eaten in my life.
The fresh cut fries they serve manage to be crispy, not soggy, as so many other establishments do. The deep fried taco is stuff of legends.
I will not stop, nay, I CAN’T stop going here until I sample everything on the menu.
The people here are the friendliest dudes, if you have to wait awhile for food, trust me, it is worth it!!!

Okay, time for an update! The owner reached out to me after my previous review and apologized for the service we got that night. So, when we were hankering for a pizza again, we decided to give Sam’s another shot, and I am very glad that we did. This time around, we did get our pizza, and it was delicious. We got the Tandoori Chicken pizza, which wasn’t really my cup of tea (I am a total baby when it comes to spicy food), it was obvious that the ingredients were of quality and after shuffling my chicken pieces over to my husband’s slice, it was wonderful. We also got some fries, which I did heartily chow down on. I’m particular when it comes to fries. They have to be right. If you’re like me, come here, because they definitely do it right.
I’m very glad that Sam got in touch with me. We’re all looking forward to trying another pizza (and gettin’ down on some more of those fries) in the future.
