return policy and customer service is very bad. they claim emtek orders come in 5 days, but had to wait a month. then they delayed because of keying issues, i emailed and got no reply for a week. had to call to ask if i could return, then I could not return it because it was past 45 days. not flexible people to deal with. will not buy from them again. i will not buy my replacement lock from them either.

I am shocked by these other reviews. I have nothing but high praise for Simpson Hardware. My first purchase was sent in a reasonable amount of time, it was an Emtek purchase so they say it comes directly from Emtek so it takes a bit longer. Trust me it is worth the few extra days their prices are hands down the best. I was so happy with them that I just made a second order and realized I entered the incorrect amount of pulls and called the next morning to inquire if I could change the number. I left a message and Ricky Simpson himself called me back within a half hour and said it would be no problem. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Simpsons Hardware, I would use them again and again and have recommended them to others. A+++++++++

I wish that I had checked Unilocal before buying from Simpsons. They have great prices, but they charged me a $ 100 restocking fee on a $ 233 order that I returned. Yes, they do post their policy in very fine print, but it’s hard to find and not clearly worded.

though they have great prices beware of internet purchases. Their customer service is nearly non-existant and if any problem develops they will tell you to contact the manufacturer. They say this even though they sold the merchandise and are responsible for replacing damaged goods. They simply want to avoid the hassle and complication of replacing defective merchandise. Companies like this give the web a bad name
