Found my go-​to bike place.
This review may be a little preemptive but I really enjoyed my first encounter here. I came in with one of our bikes that the movers put together wrong. I knew it’d be an easy fix but Greg really knows his way around a bike and had it fixed up in less than 5. Just needed brakes reattached and chain put on correctly. He was very welcoming and didn’t charge me, he said to consider it a welcome to the community. I’ll be back for sure if I need any more parts or repairs, especially since he loves Specialized bikes.

Circle of life stuff– our only son’s first bike — Specialized Fatboy was purchased here. This week 20+ years later I ‘subsidized’ his next purchase.
Giant Defy Advanced — no better team than the one at Spin Doctors. They sized him, swapped out a ‘blazè’ white saddle for an hot matching Red/​Black number. Helped him get oriented with a Disc Brake and wireless instrument system.
Can’t say enough about Greg’s shop.

Went to several bicycle shops around the Chicagoland area and tried different brands out. Spin Doctor had one of the models I was interested in so I stopped by to check it out. The owner took the time to set up the bike and make certain adjustments that I asked to really get the feel of the bike. I asked if putting bigger tires would improve the ride and he said he could put a set on for me to try out the following morning. That is above and beyond what I was expecting any shop to do. I came back in the next morning and the bike was ready to try out. It felt great and I took it home with me. I would highly recommend this shop.

This is a great bike shop. Very personal service, great stock, very knowledgable.
I bought my Giant Cyclocross bicycle here a couple of years ago, and never regretted the purchase. Can’t wait to buy my next bike!

I broke off the seat of our Trek bike. Must be extra strong arms these days or something… The owner said to bring it in and replaced the part for me on the spot without making a big deal about it. I didn’t have warranty nor had I bought the bike here. We were also educated about the life span of bike helmets, so we picked a new helmet for my daughter.
The helmet price was great and we paid nothing for the repair of my bike. The owner also loaded the bike into my van.
We will be back with all our biking needs!
Oh and they rent those travel storage bins that you attach to the roof of your car. Will definetely use that service in the future!

Well here we go. I cannot stress enough how much I love this place and the level of service you get here. I am now starting my second year of cycling, so I am a total newbie. I love it though and any question stupid or not, has been answered and not in a condescending way. (I’m looking in you general direction Performance)
This place is great for the pros, there are a lot that shop here, and newbs like me. I found there is a general chauvinistic attitude towards female riders at the big box bicycle shop, I do not get that feeling here. In fact Greg, the owner, is very helpful, respectful and just a very nice guy in general. He and his staff are very knowledgable and in the summer this place is busy like crazy, get there early.
Bikes tend to be better brands and higher end models, they also special order bikes, so this is a great place for the serious rider. Had a return last summer of an accessory I was not happy with, not the fault of the product or store, it didn’t fit my needs. No hassle return and exchanged for an item that worked out better. Great for accessories and tunes-​ups, get your bike in early, it will take about a week in some cases. They are a smaller shop than the big chain, but vive la différence! Well worth it on many levels.

Unlike other bike shops the guys who work here don’t act they are doing you a favor when they help you out. I go out of my way to go to this shop when I can. Rather give my money to a place that is not run by a bunch of folks who act as though they are curing cancer when they are only wrenching on bikes as I have experienced in the Fox Valley region.

The Spin Doctor Cyclewerks is excellent! They offer competitive prices and a great selection. We’ve purchased several bikes from Greg and his team and take them back for service. They are exceptionally knowledgeable, friendly and are also a great Bartlett community business! Keep it up!
