Great place for a hot dog! Go to NY and you get a dog that has been in water all day. Go here and enjoy a nice fresh hot dog that still has that snap when you bite it. Love the red onions and mustard. It’s fast, cheap and has nice surroundings. But look hard because you might drive right by it. Love it!

The hot dogs and fries are well enough. They give you a choice of grilled Sabrett or Berk’s. The french fries were crispy, hot and nicely salted. I had the standard machine pump, chili and cheese on dog and an awful A-​Treat Sugar-​Free Black Cherry. In short: HDD is a run-​of-​the-​mill hot dog stand. What’s very nice about it is the outdoor park benches which sit next to a rolling creek. It’s actually very serene. I’m not ure if you’re allowed to eat on the rocks. I saw a few No Trespassing signs on the trees bordering the shack and the creek. And other than the Beware of Poison Gas haches on the ground, it’s a nice place to kill time if you’re taking Rt 611 because of I-​80 nonsense.
