Great little spot for a nice lunch. Picnic tables outside by the creek, a little playground for the kids, great hot dogs, and the best chili I’ve ever had in my life! Highly recommended!

Based on my overall 8 experiences I’m giving Spankys a 4 star rating.
We’ve tried delivery — very good. We’ve are outside next to the creek. Always enjoyable.
Our last experience though, on 8 – 17 wasn’t all that great. The bread on my burger was very hard. The waitress failed to give me the peppers I ordered on the burger, and also forgot to give me a snack for daughters PB&j meal. My sons Cheesesteak was in his opinion «worst he’s had»! :(his bread was also hard and for $ 15 that sandwich should’ve been big and packed with flavor.
My husbands Dogs were perfect though and that’s what saved us this time. We’ll be back. cause 1 time out of 8 great isn’t so bad. !!

Since Cat’s unfortunately closed my girls and I have been looking for a «hot dog» place to call our own. We may have found it at Spanky’s — this used to be called something like «Hot Diggity Dog?»
We have only had hot dogs there and they are just fine. We love the area it is at, picnic tables by the creek and a play set for the kids, that’s what really make it a place to stop.
Unfortunately I have not tried any of the other food but I will as it looked good when I saw others order it! Now that it’s the winter time I’m guessing it will all be to go!

Great place for a quick bite! Food is fresh and made to order. Scenic location as long as you don’t miss it as it sits low on 611, adjacent to Pocono creek. Play area for the kids and a quiet place to enjoy your meal in an outdoor environment.
If you are looking food cooked fast, on the grill, no microwave? Then I’d give Spanky’s Grill a try.
Seems the word is catching and the only way I feel they could improve would be if they had expanded menu options along with longer hours of operation. Naturally, when you are dealing with fresh food, this happen if it’s what the people demand. So next time you are in the area, I’d make a stop and grab a quick bite at this place for sure!

This is a great place with the babbling water next to his spot with a playground a set for kids and plenty of seating and parking this is a perfect place to stop and get probably one the best hotdogs or cheese steaks you’ll ever get from the Carolina dog with its chili and Cole slaw to the Chicago dog with those perfect sized peppers and super fresh slice of tomato and pickle and the rib — eye cheese steak he doesn’t hold back you get the works with sautéed onions and pepper and mushrooms or anything on the menu put some bacon on that see how that tastes it’s just good food good comfort food done right every time you can’t get any better than this
