Best Cuban in Bartow! Great hot devil crab roll too! Beans and rice is delicious! The restaurant is clean and well-kept as well.

Mojo pork is sliced sandwich meat, black beans and rice was cold, so it was pre-made and reheated. Stuffed potatoes were overly deep-fried and greasy, and french fries weren’t cooked enough. Only really good thing was their tea and their prices… but you get what you pay for.

Eat here for lunch a couple of times per month. The staff have always been attentive and friendly but the décor could do with an overhaul. Food is OK but they need to run the extraction fan when using the fryer as you smell pretty greasy after finishing your lunch.

I only give this café 1 star on the fact that the prices were right. Unfortunately that’s the only good thing I can say. When we 1st walked in we waited 15 minutes to place an order because the cashier was having a personal conversation with a friend. I order 2 Cuban sandwiches &1 cup of Chicken & rice. They claim to have«The best Cubans in town» according to advertisement. Well our order was incorrect. The sandwiches had condiments we specifically asked not to receive: Pickles, etc. The sandwiches were very dry. The cheese was hard & cold. Tastless! The chicken & rice was flavorless. Also the restaurant looked slightly dirty & the food is not freshly made but rather warmed up in microwave. I was not impressed & won’t be back.
