Today we ordered Shannon Shrimp, Lobster Rolls. All very delicious except the claims we had looked and tasted like shrimp fried in coconut. My friend is allergic to shrimp. It was a costly mistake and a rough night.
This is on top of my husband having found a PUSH PIN in his lobster.
The food is so good — I wish there weren’t so many weird mistakes. The push pin really scared us. Thankfully we saw it before he ate.

We stumbled upon this after a hike. I was amazed that I didn’t see it on Unilocal so I googled it and saw several news articles on it. Maybe they don’t want the out of towners finding out and ruining everything. If so, I’m sorry: it was just too good not to write about. Being from Colorado, we aren’t known for our seafood (just the Rocky Mountain Oysters-​ha!) and since I visit my best friend in Baltimore once a year I have high standards in crab cakes. These were better than the ones I’ve had in Maryland! They even had homemade pies for desert. Just perfect.
