Loved the vodka and colorado mules we had all week but this distillery is a joke. Hardly any open hours and no direct online merchandise sales. Just don’t seem to care so not sure I will continue to support.

We came here on our way to Glenwood Springs for our 44th anniversary. We were excited about this place because we live in «Colorado Potato Country», and had seen a Colorado get away program on it. No one greeted us, we looked around, finally sat at the bar to order a couple of drinks. The young lady behind the bar actually treated us as nuisances, but we pressed ahead. We ordered drinks($ 14) apiece. Little tiny martinis that were NOT good. We did go ahead and buy a case of vodka for gifts and a couple of hats, etc. BUT we will NEVER go back! These folks were just plain UNFRIENDLY and our experience there was just plain weird. We have told our local stores NOT to stock that product.

Very cool lounge style tasting room! Highly recommend hanging out and having a few they have great signature drinks and interesting takes on classics! Good product, relaxing tasting room, but more info on the distillery maybe a tour of the distillery would enhance the four star experience. The bartenders are friendly and knowledgeable about their drink menu and make you feel welcome. Definitely recommend!!!

Ryan, the mixologist, is top notch. His recipes are crafted to bring out the best flavor of his menu. The food boards are a little pricey but the quality makes up for it. Try the wiskey sour, or any of the vodka drinks.(Side note, spell check wants me to change mixologist to sexologist, which isn’t too far off.) Great atmosphere for a great cocktail.

Beautifully crafted cocktails in a gorgeous tasting room, for a price. Ordered the Yellow Jacket and Bacon Old Fashioned. Both were great, but at $ 12 per drink,(and my Yellow Jacket being served in doll-furniture sized portions), it’s not affordable to stay for a few, as much as we would have liked to. Other distilleries in the state, from Two Guns, Peach Street, Deerhammer, all average $ 7 – 9 cocktails and are also creatively crafty drinks. I have no problem with a $ 12 unique cocktail, but the rest of the experience should be top-notch, and that just wasn’t the case here. Service was pretty meh. Kind of ignored for a bit and weren’t really spoken to other than«What do you want?» «Another round? K, here’s your bill.» No thank yous, etc. At other distilleries, they will at least make you feel welcome as well as explain their product. None of this happened here. We came around 5 and were pleased that drinks were $ 2 off during happy hour. I would definitely buy a bottle if I see one in a store, but skip the tasting room next time.

Tried Woody Creek Distilleries potato vodka at the Comedy on the Rocks show at Wings over the Rockies Air & Space Museum on Saturday and it was smooth and delicious! I am hooked! Definitely want to go to their Tasting Room in Basalt, CO to try more.
