There isn’t enough to say about Gallaway & Crane, so it’s difficult to begin…
It’s unfortunate that anyone would have to meet these wonderful people after the loss of a loved one, in my instance had the opportunity to meet Michael and all at Gallaway & Crane after the sudden loss of my father. My family and I were not prepared, nor did we have any knowledge (thankfully) of having to plan or organize a funeral. When we first reached out to Gallaway & Crane, they promptly sent two of the nicest men to introduce themselves and bring my father to the funeral home. Undoubtedly, the warmest and most sympathetic introduction I could have imagined, and the beginning to a beautiful send off for my dad. Meeting with Michael and his staff was such a warm and comfortable process, during such a difficult time for my family. Michael was gentle and compassionate while being very professional and patient. All of our questions had been answered, we knew we had made the right choice. Gallaway & Crane offered an online condolence section on their website, which was an incredible addition to their already amazing service. Michael kept in constant contact and provided us with all the information and itinerary for the following days to come, and offered us support beyond belief.
The staff at Gallaway & Crane offered their condolences and handled all of the visitors during the wake and funeral in such a professional and kind manner, so that nobody mourning would feel rushed or uncomfortable. The beautiful rooms, display, staff and arrangement took what my family though would have been a tremendous weight, off of our shoulders. They truly felt like family. Michael and his staff offered instruction and support during such a difficult time, with such compassion and sympathy.
It is truly a shame that we had to meet these wonderful people during such a sad time, and with all honesty the first thing that we discussed after the funeral was how we could thank them. There isn’t enough amazing things that we can say about Gallaway & Crane, they had made a truly difficult process so simple and I am sure that they did a lot that we weren’t aware of, which we would love to thank them for. I hope that I do not have to assist with anything like this, anytime soon, but there would be no other place that I would recommend. Honestly, I will always remember my father’s wake and funeral and will look back and be so thankful that we had Michael and his staff there for us.

Thank you for everything, you have helped all of us to remember my father in only the best of ways. He would have been very proud and very happy with the goodbye that you helped provide for him. As for me and my family, we thank you for all that you have done, we will never be able to thank you for such a wonderful location and all of your help.

I had the misfortune of having a loved one pass away. When I went in to make the arrangements I felt like I knew these gentlemen for years. They treated me with kindness and respect. I never felt pressured in any way and in fact was told a few times that what I wanted was an unnecssary expense. The day of the visitation was a tough one for me and my family and it went very well. Gallaway & Crane Funeral home saw to it that every detail was handled perfectly which made the day a little easier to handle. The funeral was done in such a humane and professional way from the directors to their part time staff! I hope I don’t have to go back there for a while but if need be I know which Funeral Home my family and I can trust and feel comfortable with.

When a dear one passes nothing is more comforting than having your hand held through the difficult process of planning a funeral.
Mike and the rest of Gallaway did just that, for me and my family, when my grandmother passed recently. They handled everything with a high level of integrity and grace.
Gallaway Funeral Home was a blessing during a difficult life moment. I was able to ease into a difficult day knowing everything would be Ok with the service.
I would highly recommend them to anyone seeking such a service.

A real amateur hour operation. Problems I had included:
1. wanted a couple hundred dollars for a sign in book for the memorial service (I passed)
2. Gave me a proposal that miscalculated the cost of their services.
3. missed that the death certificate had the wrong date of death
4. I paid in advance so I would not have to deal with paying on the date of death. G&C didn’t get paperwork done on time and asked me to come to funeral home the morning my mom died to write another check.
5. When I asked for a receipt I got one for another person’s funeral.
6. Did not disclose when I hired them that the $ 2,570 cremation «package» fee did not include the cost of the cremation.
Use someone else.
