John’s Painting is a top-​notch company! We recently moved into an older home that needed a total paint makeover. John’s painters removed wallpaper, spackled and beautifully painted our house in just 3 days! We highly recommend John, Manny and the rest of his crew to all NJ residents. Their work is the best of the best!

Wow, I’m shocked by the prior reviews. My grandmother used John’s Painting for over a decade and always loved his work. He was always respectful, listened and got the job done — and got it done well! He then painted other family member’s homes to their satisfaction. I just bought my first place and naturally thought to hire John, having known what his work is like. The job is complete and I’m thrilled with the job he did in my living room, kitchen and bedroom. Good to know — he accepts full payment once the job is done. I highly recommend John and his professional service!

It started badly when the owner (John) assured me that he would be on the job everyday which was a lie. He was on a planned vacation that week, no where around.
They butchered my trim. They had taken all my downspouts off and put them back in wrong places and some even upside down. There was a small deck/​terrace that was missed and he refused to do it claiming he already used too much paint. And he was far from the cheapest quote. An all around lousey experience. You can do better elsewhere.

I have used John’s Painting several times and have previously been satisfied. However, my most recent experience was completely different. John promised to come back and finish a job and then went completely MIA. I called him at least 10 times to no avail. Finally, I called another painter and got the job done with no hassle. Additionally, John owes me $ as I paid him in full, trusting that he would come back and finish the job. Painters are a dime a dozen (low skill/​low barriers to entry) – find someone else.
