The Learning Experience

My almost 2 year old son has been enrolled here for only a short time and my wife and I have seen incredible positive change in him. He has friends he comes home and babbles about and he’s usually quite excited in the morning about going to school. The staff is terrific with the little ones and the management is super helpful and always willing to help when I’m unable to get out of work to pick him up. The owner is also quite personable and cares about your individual situations. In touring the center, I was quite impressed when I learned that children can learn not only Spanish but also Mandarin Chinese before even entering public school! The program here is second to none and the people drive my recommendation over the top! A+ in my book

The teachers are very nice but I would never send an infant here again. They didn’t feed my 8 week old for over 4 hours because they weren’t sure when she last ate. They called me at 1pm to ask me when my son ate before coming to the center that morning (he was dropped off at 7am) because he had been crying for hours and they didn’t know if they should feed him. The policies around feedings are HORRIBLE. You should never let an infant cry for hours because they are hungry and you don’t have an exact last meal time. The infant room is also very small and they do not help you at all with unpacking the baby in the morning or packing up at night. The teachers really do seem to be trying their best given the terrible policies in place and very, very limited space they have to work with for 10 – 11 infants.

My daughter began in the older infant room around her first birthday. She is now in the Toddler room. The teachers and management staff have been fantastic, and we are pleased with the activities as well as the nurturing environment. My mother-​in-​law is a first grade teacher and she has also been impressed.

My daughter was attending a previous nearby daycare and I was very unhappy. After visiting TLE and meeting the owner, I knew this place was right for my daughter and us as a family. She started in September of ’14 and I couldn’t be happier. Switching her was the BEST decision. She has learned so much. She is excelling everyday. It is evident her teacher and other staff are doing an amazing job. I would recommend this to any parent who wants their child to learn and enjoy themselves as kids as well.
They also have tons of family events and the amazing parents night out. They are a loving and dedicated team of educators. They are also very flexible and are conscious of parents needs and try their very best to accommodate them! I love the TLE family and I am the happiest having my daughter there.

Going back to work is hard enough as a new mom, but picking up your child from her first day at daycare to find out that they let her go 5 hours without feeding her is the most terrifying thing one can experience. At 13 weeks old that is just unacceptable. Trying to be fair and give it one more try, we spoke to the teachers in the room, the center’s director and filled out a «communication form». Next day? Same thing happened. I was even told that I «should call to check on her to make sure she’s eating the way I want her to.» Seriously? I should call to make sure you are feeding my child? We had to scramble to find a new daycare, which we thankfully did, as there was no way I was sending my little girl back to a place that would allow an infant to go that long without a feeding, especially after a parent very loudly expressed a concern. Not too mention I picked her up on her last day and they were changing her onesie because she had spit up a little, but did not change her soaking wet diaper as I stood there and watched. When I asked why, they told me «Oh, she was changed within the 2 hour time frame between.» So if my child has a soaking wet diaper she was going to be allowed to sit in it because it wasn’t part of their schedule? I think not! We are glad we found out early enough that this was not the daycare for us. We couldn’t be happier with our new day care that takes great care of our child.

Being a first time parent, child care is always a imperative concern. The comfort of leaving your child with strangers is not something that can be easily earned. In the case of this facility, they are truly exemplary, if not incomparable, to other centers. You can’t put a price on trust, integrity, professionalism, and sincerity. Our daughter has been attending this center for almost a year and we have nothing but positive interactions with each and every staff member. I commend Anthony, and his entire staff, for the outstanding standard they set forth each and everyday.
