Bastrop Apartment Leasing

The apartments are nice but way too expensive for what you get which is basically nothing. No amenities. You pay water, electricity, sewer, cable (which is extremely high in this area), and internet (again which is extremely high in this area). The walls are not sound proof at all and you can hear every word your neighbors say, both upstairs and down. Just this morning while sitting at my desk working I heard my neighbors having sex and so did the person I was on the phone with. The owner is extremely unprofessional. If you have an issue they will take forever to get it fixed. My dish washer and microwave are broken and I’ve told them twice but they’ve never fixed it. I’m moving out and going back to Texas but they want to show my apartment. They call with no notice. They do not have to person fill out a credit app to ensure they even have a job. They don’t even get the persons name but I’m threatened if I refuse to allow a stranger into my home. This is THE worst rental property I’ve ever lived in and you can bet I will let everyone know just how bad they are.
Oh…if you pay rent with a credit or debit card… you will pay 3% every time. I have paid more than $ 600 in 3% fees since living here because I travel for wrk and I’m very seldom home during the week.
