Granny’s Family Restaurant has great food and an awesome selection. The food is always fresh and the restaurant is always kept clean. The staff do a great job of keeping glasses full. I have ate here several and it is always great.

A staple for good southern cooking in Bastrop, and they also have a 2nd location in Monroe. They always have good entrée’s on the buffet such as fried porkchops, succulent fried chicken, lasagna and many other options. They also have seafood on Friday nights. Afterward, satisfy your sweet tooth on the delicious pies, cobblers, and ice cream.

Stopped in Cody on our way back to Denver. The place was clean and the service was friendly. Food was good and reasonably priced. If your looking for good basic comfort food can beat it.

Baton Rouge, LA
This family owned place is a great place to go if you like food like your grandma makes it! The fried chicken is awesome and the buffet has all kinds of good stuff to pick from. Seems like their busiest time is right after church on Sunday. Get there early if you want to beat all those Baptists to a table!
