Henderson’s Towing

My daughter locked her keys in her car while at a store in Bastrop. We called Henderson’s towing and was provided excellent service on the phone. Since all the drivers were out on calls the owner arrived in a timely manner, opened her car in less than 5 minutes and caused zero damage to the vehicle. Very thankful for having called Henderson’s Towing.

Had trouble with our Jeep while passing through Bastrop. We called Henderson’s Towing and they gave us a reasonable price: base fee plus a cost-​per-​mile. They got there quickly did the job professionally and the end cost was less than what I expected. The driver was polite and friendly and I felt very safe. They made a stressful situation much easier to deal with. Call Henderson’s if you need a tow while you’re in the area!

I wish I could give zero stars. I’m guessing the other reviews are fake. I have roadside assistance from Verizon. My husband locked his keys in his truck so I called them today at 17:31. VERIZON texted me the provider information moments later which indicated Henderson’s. At 20:45, I had not heard anything. I checked my phone and, about that time, rec’d a call from a 330 area code. I ignored it, but then saw that there were 2 other calls from the same number. I thought maybe it was «my guy» so I called it back. I got a message that it was not a working number. I then went to the text that Verizon had sent and called THAT number. It also said it was not a working number. I then called Verizon roadside assistance back and was informed that the provider, Henderson’s Towing had informed them that they made contact with me and I told them I no longer needed service! WHAT!!! I informed Verizon that I did not want to deal with Henderson’s and to please send the next company on the list. They said «no problem». While I was on hold with Verizon, I double-​checked the number I called and realized I had dialed 8744 instead of 8774. That is really irrelevant though because Henderson had never showed up nor called me at that point. After realizing my error and hanging up with Verizon, I decided to call Henderson myself. I identified myself and said that Verizon had told me that he told them I no longer needed service, but that I had certainly never talked to anyone nor indicated I no longer needed service. This is where HENDERSON insisted that I DID tell them that! I was arguing the fact that I did not and the jackass said «Well, someone we talked to at this number said so.» I told him that nobody else had access to my phone and the call miraculously dropped. What a freakin’ piece of SH1T! If he doesn’t want the job because it’s Friday night just freakin say so! I had been expecting a response such as «I’m sorry. Let me check the number I dialed» or something to that effect, but he immediately went into — I DID talk to you and this is what YOU said and this is the number I dialed… It’s like as long as I say it, it makes it true! I have phone records to prove otherwise! Stay away!!! LOSER! LOSER! LOSER! RG Towing Service was sent to me instead of. I don’t know if he is based in Lockhart or just happened to be there, but I would certainly consider them over HENDERSON’s. Within less than 2 minutes, I got a call from the driver with the ETA. He was friendly and PROFESSIONAL!

These guys, are friendly, professional, and get the job done right. The rate was very reasonable considering the tow company right around the corner from the vehicle wanted $ 40 more than hendersons; and hendersons came from all the way out on the other side of Bastrop! The driver showed up in less than an hour so A++. I even tipped him.

Henderson’s Towing is the best towing company around! I have had wonderful service from one of their drivers, Chuck. He is professional and courteous all the time. Highly recommend this business.

They’ve helped me 3 times within 2 months. The first time, I locked my keys in my car. The next 2 times, I needed to be towed to a garage.
In all 3 instances, I received assistance within 1 hour of calling. Their time estimates were accurate. They were very courteous and would take care of everything quickly. I’d never had a car towed before, but I cannot imagine the process going more smoothly.
