This cute little diner was recommended when every other breakfast place in the area was closed for the holiday. It was packed! Aside from the random lady who walked up with a pen and pad and tried to take our order even though she didn’t work there, it was a good experience. I ordered a veggie omelet that came jam packed with veggies and I added jalapenos so I was happy. My dad says his eggs were a little runnier than he liked and I thought the french toast looked dry but again, I was happy with my veggie omelet.

I have been here a few times for lunch. Huddle House has a good priced lunch menu and some good coffee. Be careful of what time you go here because the spooks and crazies come out at night here.

Found this place searching for breakfast places in bastrop. There’s really not a lot if places for breakfast here besides fast food places. They have a lot of options on the menu for breakfast and lunch. I went with the two egg breakfast and my husband got a garden omelet with a golden waffle on the side.
We were both satisfied with our food and the service was very friendly.
