Very poor customer service experience. Snarky response to my email, no names in their response so did not know who we were corresponding with, also made it easy for them to reply with rudeness and disrespect. WE have been buying their products for years, because they are an American manufacturer. We will never buy their products again nor would we recommend them after this. Problem not resolved. Think twice and shop for alternatives.

I have the same type of reel. It automatically rewinds by switching the water to the retrieve mechanism. The piece that you push over to do that broke. I emailed them and they actually sent the piece for free. They are a great company and support their products. The new part was much sturdier than the original. Installed and working. Try to email or call customer service before you order the part you may get a surprise.

We purchased a water hose and case that has an automatic hose reel feature. The feature has worked well for the past several months until a small plastic«stop» on the hose that keeps the hose from completely entering the hose case, broke. The small part weighs about 4 ounces. The part is $ 4.36. The«freight charges» from Suncast to my house was $ 10.19 by UPS. There was no option on the shipping. This small part would have shipped by Priority Mail for less than $ 5.00. If you purchase a hose reel and need a repair part it appears you will have to pay a premium for that shipping REGARDLESS of what the postage or shipping is for SUNCAST. You might want to look elsewhere for that part.
