Timebuyer

I am currently a timebuyer customer. I knew they rip people off but I have bad credit and they were the only ones that would finance me. I’ve had my truck for 7 months. The check engine light came on and even though they say you have a 2 year warrenty, they come up with a reason for why they won’t fix it without money from your pocket. My 4 wheel drive also is having problems and they won’t even look at it if I don’t pay them. That’s not the worst of it though, they are highway robbers! I pay 385 dollars a month for my truck and they only apply 185 dollars of that payment towards the truck and my down payment just disappeared. It was not applied to my account at all. They are charging me a little over 11,000 dollars for the truck and after owning it for 7 months, I still owe over 10,000 dollars. (Mind you, my truck is no spring chicken… it’s a 2005) If you do the math, I will end up paying over 20,000 dollars for this truck. Is that not crazy? I was in a predicament because I needed this truck for my work and now that I am more financially stable, I’m taking it back and going to a dealer who won’t take advantage of me like this. I am disgusted with them for doing this to people and also with myself for letting them do this to me. I just want to warn anyone who may be thinking of going through these guys to try other options first! It isn’t fair that the owner takes advantage of people with bad credit and people who don’t have a lot of money and gets rich off them. It should be illegal what they’re doing. Please do your homework before you go here. I know two other people who had vehicle problems right from the get go and Timebuyer prolonged the paperwork process to exceed 30 days (which is the full car warrenty) so they didn’t have to fix it for free! Be careful!
