I truly wish this place was closer to me but then again it’s a good thing I’m not closer because it would be an expensive habit. Definitely a diamond in the rough located between Bath and Morristown, Bean Bath Café has got it all. Their menu is not overdone and has a great city flair to it which is why I can’t believe their location. I’ve had breakfast there many times, I have to say the Salmon Eggs Benedict was outstanding also great coffee to compliment. Their lunch menu is also good with a nice mix of salads, sandwiches & burgers. It’s a little pricey but without a doubt worth it and if they were in the city they would not a problem charging much more. I truly hope the locals know how good they have it I’ll be back soon.

— odd location, inside first impression mismatched furniture is corky but good home welcoming vibe, well lit inside. — Friendly staff, the owner is also the waitress, host and food prepper when it comes out of kitchen… she is there every Monday if you would like to meet her and her family work the remainder of the work week. — open 7 days a week, 7:30am — 2pm everyday. They dont kick you out after 2pm either if you are there prior to 2pm — Jazz Music is the ambience inside — carefully crafted Menu by the owner, Hard to choose because of such a large variety. Prepare to spend a decent amount of money(one person)(one meal) around $ 12-$ 16, but large portion sizes for the price and astonishing enough the presentation and fresh food and fruit and baked goods and yogurt was perfect. — «Children », child friendly, booster seats available, baby changing tables in both Male and Female Restroom. — Restroom, Dinning area and Kitchen is Clean i took a close look at everything. — fresh coffee and they design every one with foam designs are artistic, they have to go cups, tons of coffee favors to choose from, also different variety of sugar to choose from, organic coffee as well. — not too much vegan options, as well as not many gluten free options

The service was egregious. The«owner» I’m assuming comes out once and a while to do nothing. The dishes are dirty, the silverware always seems dirty, the waitresses show no enthusiasm. I come here for my weekend meal and it seems thrown together. Not worth it for its expensive prices. Not enthused.

Stan the man here with… *BeanBath* and Beyond! I was visiting my old friend from the model train group Hal. Great guy, a little awkward as we hadn’t seen each other in awhile, but he suggested this great little diddy called the BeanBath café and off we went. As soon as the waitress brought over our coffee, the awkward silence melted as we took turns watching the creamer flow through our coffee! Love the glass mugs! What a delight, haha ;p The menu was very impressive for such a small place and can really only be described as tres chic. I had a hard time choosing, as all of the selections sounded mouthwatering but I landed on the breakfast quesadilla, what a classic! It was sooo yummy. I just wish it would never end, can’t say the same about global warming haha thank god this place is environmentally friendly! Hal got the migas scramble. That was my second choice, so of course I waited until he went to the bathroom and snuck a couple fork fulls off his plate. Wow, another great dish. I’m excited to put this joint in my regular breakfast location rotation. Haha. Maybe not with Hal though, as we aren’t that close. I suppose I could invite my model train group. I just want all of my loved ones to experience this wonderful little chic. Long story short, I would take a bath in their beans! ;P

Very good food and coffee. Nice range of tasty choices for breakfast & lunch. Everything made to order, so it is a slightly longer wait than a «diner» but well worth it…

Love this place. Had breakfast here and it was awesome. Lots of interesting menu choices and portions are very nice. Priced on the higher side for breakfast but not expensive. Small place so it can fill up. Service was on the slow side but we were there during a peak time, every table was full. Can’t wait to go back and try the lunch menu. Definitely a hidden gem!

I had really high hopes for the little spot after reading the reviews. We drove about 25 mins to have breakfast here. The inside is super cute and cozy, and they have a nice sized breakfast menu. On a Thursday morning there was a out 5 tables and one server. As you know, a server can make or break your dining experience. Unfortunately, our server just wasn’t good. If you are solo then you must be a strong experienced server and able to keep up. She lacked the ability to know how to multitask. I asked for lemon with my water 3x and waited 25 mins until she finally remembered to bring it. We arrived before another party of two and ordered yet she placed their order to the kitchen before ours so they were literally leaving when we finally got our food. It appeared that they were regulars and got special treatment. There was a gentleman who came out once to clear and wipe some tables, I’m not sure his role but I later saw him sitting on the sofa down the hall having coffee and doing paperwork, so I presume he was the owner r manager. It would have been nice if he helped out the solo server a bit more. On a bright note, the food was pretty tasty. My verde breakfast burrito was very yummy and my mom enjoyed her frittata. But as I said, service counts a lot for the overall experience and it left a lot to be desired.

Tremendous. Only improvements would be better salsa and be open for dinner. Overall, this place is a hidden gem.

Great find. Clean, great staff and outrageous food. Have only been there for breakfast, but everyone in our party had something different and rave reviews around the table. Will definitely be back.

Always a wonderful breakfast and good service! The music sounds like middle eastern yuk but otherwise a great place.

I live in a rural area where there isn’t much of anything and certainly no outstanding restaurants(especially breakfast joints). Then I found this place online! Don’t be turned off by the fact it’s in a little strip mall in the nowhere’s land. It’s adorable and the food is soooo on point. I sat at a surfboard table with my mom and got the tex mex omelette with a soy cappuccino. She got California scramble. Both dishes were meticulous and served very quickly despite it being very crowded. The hash browns were perfectly crunchy and the omelette was generously stuffed. Will 100% return and order lunch!

The few weekends I’ve been to this joint, it has been really packed & I understand why. Although small, the service is splendid.

We were hankering for a good breakfast that didn’t have any of us in the kitchen — we had a rough night the night before. We drove the 20 mins to Bath on a foggy and rainy day and happened upon BeanBath Café. We walked in and were transported to an exotic locale. They have a huge beach mural, African art, eclectic décor, bamboo facades, the works. The music was tranquil and matched the setting. Walking in you could definitely look past the dreary outside. My husband and I ate from their breakfast menu and were delighted by the quality and quantity. I had a Santa Barbara bagel sandwich — which is normally not my go to choice of bread, but it was delectable. My husband ordered a Napa valley Greek frittata and licked his plate clean. We also imbibed their freshly made coffee and it was spot on. We will definitely be back, rain or shine!

The wait staff was very friendly. Our server was very friendly and engaging and made us feel very comfortable here. Samantha was really nice. You’ll be happy if she is your server. It was the first time I visited this place, but certainly not the last. I always get simple food. Over medium eggs, ham, toast, OJ, coffee. It came in a reasonable amount of time even though the place was full. The atmosphere, despite the capacity being filled, was quiet and casual. Not hectic. Prices are reasonable and the portions are appropriate. Found this place on Unilocal! Was impressed by all of the reviews. It truly does live up to the expectations I had based on what Unilocal reviewers had to say.

This little place in an out of the way mini strip of stores is a hidden gem. First of it has a great view and is nicely decorated. Coffees are big and beautifully foamy. The breakfast menu is extensive and the cook is no stranger to bold flavors, lots of chorizo and chili with eggs on the menu. My son had an excellent hot chocolate with 4 inches of whipped cream. There are some creative eggs Benedict on the menu, burritos and scrambles. The cowboy killer is very popular. I haven’t been in here for lunch yet but I hear the turkey club is the best anywhere. Well worth the drive on a Saturday morning.

While my kids were at a function, I looked up places in the area. Now that I have eaten here, I am not sure why this place doesn’t have a plane flying overhead for people to find. Talk about diamond in the rough! The food here is nothing short of spectacular and it came out quickly. What was even better was it was accommodating. The staff was super nice and my 2 yr old felt comfortable. They had high chairs and a kids’ menu. Wifi is available, as well as a tv to watch if you are eating solo. There was plenty to choose from, menu wise, and an even more impressive drink/café selection. There is room to spread out, but overall about 15 tables, so moderate groups could fit. For the future, I am going to frequent this place even though it’s off my beaten path.

Came here for breakfast, ordered the Serrano Panini and San Diego French toast. So delish. Also ordered their caramel macchiato. I love coffee and am a stickler for flavor and I really enjoyed my iced caramel macchiato. Would def come Back here again. Casual ambiance, seems like a place that would have limited menu but it’s actually quite extensive, def a lot of choices.
