Since I’ve moved to Bath my view of Café Crème has changed… I love the creative lattes they suggest and the cool atmosphere. I don’t often sit around as the place is usually busy and I live to grab a coffee before meandering downtown. Still not an ideal place to sit with a laptop, and I am now happy about that.

Had a quiche and side of salad with a good latte. Very nice. Not the strongest for me, but it was good.

We couldn’t pass up the enticing aroma finding it’s way down the sidewalk; beckoning a visit to a delightfully unassuming shop in a spacious yet homey and bright little café. The owner was delightful and she knows how to make her coffee. We were especially tempted by the experience and decided to indulge in some sweets. The soft molasses cookie makes a great companion to the truly great coffee while one lounges in a leather chair, basking in the sunlight.

Though Café Crème was the only specialty coffee shop I could find in Bath, my latte was delicious. I visited at a busy hour, but my drink came out quickly. Next time, I’ll try some of the baked goods or one of the multitude of available smoothies. The environment is great for a conversation with a friend or a quick read through the Times.

I had their vegan meatloaf sandwich today. It came with a simply dressed salad. Both were so good and the sandwich had this delicious mango chipotle catsup on it. They also have good coffee and smoothies. There are some lovely cakes and pastries available, too. This is a great place to grab a coffee and read a book or type up your homework, although sometimes it can get crowded. It is pretty popular after all.

Café Crème is my absolute favorite. A little more expensive than, say, dunkin donuts, but very much worth it! Healthier, tastier options of various items. Vegan and Gluten free options. And I love their coffee! The people are super friendly. It IS a very small space they h;ave to work with, so on busy days it can be quite crowded, but it is still excellent and worth it in my opinion.

First off downtown Bath is a great place to spend an afternoon. So many great shops. Anytime I go down there I stop at café crème. Mostly I get a to go latte but sometimes I do sit and linger in the small yet cozy café. Not only do they make excellent lattes but the quiche and baked goods have always been above average. *They offer vegan and gluten free items as well. *The café is very kid friendly there is a little nook with a kitchen play set and other toys for kids.

My 1991 self would have really liked the place… Cookies and over-steamed coffee drinks…

On a Unilocal whim I decided to find a decent latte; this place was great! Friendly staff, really good Gingersnap cookie & they listened patiently & then executed my choice of how I wanted my latte. Went back the next day with husband — again spot on with our drinks — he had what we call a Dirty Chai(think they call it a Chai Charger here) & I had my Van Latte xtra foam oh & the lemon poppy seed muffin was a yumfest of flavor. This place is right where it should be Front & Centre(streets).

I’ve spent years doing work, meeting friends, drinking coffee, and enjoying the delicious treats and quality meals here. One of my favorite spots in town. Grab a spot on the couch with a good book, but be prepared to lose yourself in conversation with a friendly regular.

Loved this place! Walked in not knowing what to expect from a small town coffee shop and was delighted at it’s charm and personality. Baristas were busy but both prompt and friendly. Had the oatmeal craisin cookie and came back for another! Also had the caramel crème and it was better than my standard macchiato. Went back three more times before heading out of town.

Stopped for a spot of tea after day of sight seeing shopoing… bustling joint, grabbed the last table. .ordered tea and split a commercial pastry. Great cheerful service… we chatted up some locals and really enjoyed it. $ 8 with tip

This place reminds me of one of my junior high report cards, «has lots of potential, just doesn’t apply itself». There’s better coffee to be had if they were diligent enough to look for it & better drinks to be made if they invested more in training. The atmosphere is nice but the set-up leaves much to be desired. The drip coffee is ok but depending on the time of day you go it can be stale, I’ve had cups that tasted 2+ hours old. They’re really your only choice in Bath.

I’m up visiting Maine this week. Sitting here enjoy a nice peppermint mocha and and absolutely outstanding Maple Bacon cinnamon bun(Saturdays only so it’s my lucky day). It was a real treat. As many people have noted, it’s a nice quaint and cozy coffee shop fitting for a small town. Reminds me of a place close to home, aside from the true Mainer accents. I’m looking forward to stopping here next time I visit.

Easy access from the highway :) I was driving to Boston from Bar Harbor and needed to refuel, but didn’t want to stop for gas station coffee(ewww gross)! Found this place on the Unilocal map, so we stopped in. Cute place on the corner. Clean & Bright interior. Friendly service. Coffee was strong and tasty! Just what I needed :)

I’ve tried many times over the years to give this place a chance. Bath isn’t exactly a café mecca, so when I’m here and craving some caffeine I head in because of the convenient location. Unfortunately I’m not sure I’ve ever had a drink here that I enjoyed. The lattes have always been bitter, and the few hot chocolates and chai I’ve ordered have been excessively milky(like the chocolate/chai tip-toed through it). I don’t like having to send back food or drinks but a few times I’ve been served a drink that is utterly un-drinkable, however I’ve always been meet with an apologetic staff when this happens. All in all I chalk it up to having baristas that simply do not know how to pull a good shot of espresso, and a lack of attention to drinks. If they tasted even half the drinks they served, they might think differently about the product they put out. If you’re looking for a bite to eat I have found that the only bright spot is the food they serve, however I’m pretty sure the majority of it is made by someone else. I’d skip this place for coffee.

Nice stop. We always go when we are in Maine. Nice chocolate chai. The staff is great. I had a good lunch there too. I did have a problem with my lunch once and the manager gave me a free espresso drink on my next visit. That is good service. It gets crowded and it is in a nice spot. I like it!
