Drake Sharon Real Estate

I hate to leave bad reviews of anything due to the fact that everybody has a bad showing once in a while. However this I believe it is my job to notify the unsuspecting public of the danger of doing business with anything this persons name is on. She is not an honest person and should be avoided at all costs. My family was moved to ME for work and let me say we loved living in this state. However we rented a home from Sharon Drake herself and we thought everything was OK. Upon signing the lease we had to give a fuel deposit. We had always had natural gas heat so K1 heating fuel was new to us so I paid the deposit. When we moved in our fuel was less than half full and we had to fill the tank again before the end of the month. When we moved out we filled the tank half full and cleaned the home spotless.
That is when we were told that the $ 1000.00 was not a deposit and it was for the fuel that was in the house when we moved in. She also told us she had to fill the tank upon our departure. That she did because we only replaced what had been in there when we moved in. I sent the billing history from the Fuel company clearly showing us filling it up the month we moved in and 7 days before we left. This means nothing to Sharon Drake real Estate because they did not intend on paying us anyway. Stay away from this agency. I could not imagine making a home purchase with someone that is this dishonest.
