This is a convenient Front St. store more for tourists than for locals IMO. Meaning it has the most browsing area than any of the other shops on this street. I stopped in for black Sharpies but they don’t have them. So they don’t have«everything» but almost. It’s a good alternative from the IGA down the street if you need large size hair conditioner(if staying at a hotel) or a nice canvas tote. I found a couple of cute mugs. Seemed like the only ones people were buying. Ceramic but they mimic tin camp mugs in red with a 3D embossed type decoration of a lobster on the front with a wide black wide rim. So I grabbed the last 2 on the shelf. What is odd(or normal) is that all the Maine nick nacks are made in China but may be designed in Maine. If you need a lemon and lime manual squeezer grab one in here. One unique one sits on the counter on rubber feet and it’s what else yellow. For those who have never been in Bath Me. you can park behind the store and enter the downstairs entrance and access Front St also. So I exited the downstairs door and soon as I walked out(strange part) a man was parked in an older gold, I think, car with a white beard and waved at me and then immediately drove away. I have never been here before so I don’t know what was up with that. He wasn’t waving to anyone else since I was alone. It seemed odd to me since it bordered on intimidation since he was staring right at me. If it wasn’t for that I would have 4 stars on this review. So not A-OK-just 3 stars.

how can you not like renys? you have to make the trip if you’re from the area. every summer when I visit maine, we stop here at least once. like others have mentioned, it’s like an old school department store. they have everything from candy to apparel and the prices cannot be beat; even at Walmart. and it’s very quaint and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

The Maine adventure! They truly have everything you could possibly need at reasonable prices. I have purchased everything from cake holders to snow shovels here. They have a wonderful selection of Carharts at great prices. Great place to get all of your seasonal needs(wrapping paper, Halloween candy, Easter decorations, etc…) I often find myself just going to the store to see what they have not necessarily because I need anything.

Reny’s is an old school discount department store. Pre WalMart as someone below mentioned. They have good variety of brand names at a cheaper price, sample sale type stuff with the brand crossed off the tag but you can find Levi’s, Lucky Brand, Forever 21, good stuff. This was my place to go when I was a kid and wanted a cheap model airplane building kit. They always had a good toy collection. And they still have the Lions Club 1cent chiclet machine! Can’t beat that.

Reny’s is a pretty sweet place to kill some time and find some bargains. They have a bit of everything, and it’s all at bargain basement prices. It’s a very no-frills store, with all the merch packed in pretty tightly– a little hard to manuever in there sometimes, but that just adds to the feeling of treasure hunting. The employees are just about the happiest, friendliest crew I’ve ever seen. They strike a good balance of helpfulness: if you need help, they’re there for you, and if not, they leave you to shop in peace. Yeah, this place pretty much rocks.

I love Renys. You can find pretty much anything at this family run discount store. Good prices on quality brands. And where else can you get like 6 toothbrushes for $ 1? The only danger is going into the store for one thing and coming out with six bags of other stuff you didn’t know you needed.
