I brought my 92 corvette in after experiencing some intermittent shifting problems. Rusty looked at it straight away & couldn’t find anything wrong, so he requested to keep it another day so his technician(with several decades more experience) could also have a look. Neither of them could find a problem, so there was no cost. A lot of mechanics will replace fluids, make adjustments & even«find something wrong» in order to make a buck(especially with an old sports car!!). Rusty was completely honest & upfront, and was kind enough not to charge me for his effort & time. I will definitely be bringing it back here when I have problems in the future.

I have a 2007 Toyota Tacoma that had suffered some pretty bad road wear and tear over the past couple years. My truck had 3 bad U-joints, a busted driveshaft, and a worn out CV Joint. Mr. Rusty and Mr. Chet got to it right away and for a very reasonable price. Due to their hard work and determination to get the right price and parts I needed I was back on the road within 2 days. I highly recommend this shop and plan on using them for years to come.

OMG. OMG. OMG. SUUUUUCCCH a ripoff! Rusty is a scammer and plainly put– a bad person. Sent in my 98 Blazer for transmission work and he told me my transmission was fine but my wheel hubs were shot but for 1100 he’d fix it right up. Well soon other maladies followed– suddenly our engine was in desperate need of a «tune up» for the tune of 450(which we refused to let him do) and then our brakes needed replacing(which we also refused despite his warnings that we would most certainly die without this work) then the kicker was the call today when he told me that my effing transmission was shot. DUH! That is why I sent it to him in the first place! He never even tested the transmission! The transmission was going to be 1700 – 2000 so I just said screw it and we’re having the car picked up to have someone less evil have a look. Our new mechanic suggested that we have Rusty send the bill to him so he could assess the costs honestly and he told us that Rusty overcharged us by at least 500 for the work we actually let him do. So effectively I have dumped 1100 bucks into a car that is worth about 1100 and it still won’t drive. So word to the wise people… stay the hell away from Rusty at Aamco on Florida and go to Morris at Morris Transmission on Choctaw… totally nice(and honest) guy who is going to see if we should junk it(and he’ll sell it) or fix it. Damn I wish I knew about Morris sooner. Live and learn. Anybody need a 98 Chevy Blazer as a lawn ornament???
