This is strictly a review of their dry cleaning service as I’ve never used the laundromat portion. I’m honestly surprised that they’ve recieved such high marks. They absolutely ruined my wife’s beaded blouse and didn’t even bother to tell her about it, let alone offer to reimburse her for the damage/price of the blouse or even the price of the cleaning. Not only that, but they didn’t even bother to call and notify us that our clothing was ready for pick-up. These are NOT good business practices. Needless to say, we won’t be utilizing this service again.

First time here. Clean, lots of working machines. Great customer service(the young lady behind the counter helped a great deal with securing a laundry card and internet access) and oh yeah, the saints game was on every tv :-)

This place has a great wash-n-fold service. $ 1.35 per pound for next day service, $ 1.85 for same day. I was completely behind on everything domestic and academic at the end of semester and finally decided to outsource at least one huge chore. The staff were friendly when I went in. You weigh your laundry immediately and pay upfront. Right after leaving, I called back to make sure they would dry my clothes on low or medium heat. Instead of being insulted that I was telling him how to do his job, the man on the phone was understanding and assured me that they actually read and follow every single wash tag; they even have an area in the back with a big fan for clothes that do not go in the dryer. All the same, he said he’d leave a note to make sure my clothes weren’t shrunk, which made me feel better.(The last thing I need right now is for nothing to fit). My clothes were ready when they said they’d be and even though I brought my own bags, the girl behind the counter made sure I didn’t have anything hanging before sending me in my way. Thoroughness and good, quick service are definitely their strong points. Like others have said, the place is clean. Even for wash-n-go they gave me a laundry card with my info on it to make dropping off clothes faster next time. The detergent they use does have a stronger smell than my own hippie Whole Foods detergent, but it’s not overwhelming and seems to have faded in the last 12 hours; next time I will request the unscented detergent. I will definitely use this place again when my domesticity invariably fails at the end of another semester.

I’ve been doing laundry here for a while because the laundry room at my apartment complex is terrible and old. My clothes were never clean and I wasted so much money. Now that I’ve been using cyclone I’ve sAved money and my clothes are always clean also the staff is nice

Easily the nicest laundromat I’ve ever been to. Good machines, lots of parking, no coins required, air conditioned, a couch and tables, clean bathrooms, tv, music, vending machines and free Wi-Fi. I’m sold. Tip: Bring $ 1 cash of you don’t have a card yet. You’ll need it.

What a great place! How many times have you been on the road and have to do laindry at some sleazy dirty hole in the wall? It sucks when you have to. Cyclone is 180 degrees from that! It is the cleanest, nicest place I have ever done laundry! Here for a soccer tourney. They have 20−40−60 pound machines that are fast and get the job done. Free wifi and the staff is excellent. Very friendly, asking if you need help and are genuinely nice people. Got dirty clothes in Baton Rouge? Hands down come to cyclone discussion over

I used this laundry while staying in a downtown hotel. They picked up and delivered and did a very nice job of washing and folding of my cloths for a fraction of the cost of the hotels usual service . Deanna

A major surprise was the«cards». It costs a buck just to get the card. After purchasing, you can load it up with credit to use in the computers or washer and dryers. I just saw that someone said the cards are returnable for your dollar back. I don’t quite get the whole idea in the first place. The money spent on computer time doesn’t buy much of it. On the upside it was clean, quiet, well equipped, and the dryer I used dried the clothes quite quickly. If you’re in a rush, it may be a good bet.

Cyclone is a great clean and quite place to do laundry. To use the machines you need to purchase a card for 1 $. You can trade them in for 1 $ which is really great if your moving or accumulated a few over time. Regular size washers are $ 3, larger washers are $ 5 and the«motherload» is $ 7. Dryers are $ 2 for regular size and $ 4 for larger.

Best laundromat in Baton Rouge! Cyclone is south of LSU’s campus and a 10 minute drive from my house. There are 3 laundromats on my trip here, yet I keep driving because its worth it. I’m not one to leave my clothes unattended in a washer/dryer, so I’m going to be spending upwards of an hour sitting, waiting. So choosing a clean, comfortable establishment is a priority. This place excels. There are 30+ washers and 36+ dryers at this place. I went around 7PM on a weeknight and found it mostly empty. It is well-lit and has little tables to do work at or read. Along the back wall, there are computers for rent(thus, Internet Café). $ 1 gets you 15 minutes. But there’s also free wifi available. The password is taped to the glass. This whole operation works based on magnetic cards. Buy a card for $ 1, then load it either from cash or from your credit/debit card. Very convenient! I used a $ 7 washer rated for 60 lbs of laundry and got all my wash done in one fell swoop. Much more efficient and much cheaper than buying lots of 20 lb washers. I like this place. Safe, clean, and in good repair. Makes washing clothes not a terrible experience. EDIT: Forgot to mention the awesome music. Yeah. They play awesome music. For a laundromat, anyway.
