Good tamales. Stopped in early before they had many baked goods out. Decided to try chilaquiles with egg for a takeout breakfast and they were really good. Some cilantro, avocado and crema finished it off. Served with some frijoles and it was too big to finish. But it was delicious. Definitely not a date spot but there are a few tables to eat in. Had the tamales for dinner. Husband loved them. Best I’ve had so far here in Baton Rouge. Small but nicely seasoned.

Small place. Nice woman took my order. The huarache de carne asada was really good. Too, was the taco al pastor, which had a hint of cinnamon in its spice. The salsa verde rocked with its jalapeño kick. Will be back.

Enjoyed a tasty pork tamale and two tacos, all for $ 5! Al pastor and lengua were nicely seasoned. The salsa verde is hot and horchata was good but a bit too sweet for my tastes. There’s a small market inside with some typical baked goods which I didn’t try. Menu also includes tortas, huaraches, and gorditas. Overall a good spot for authentic Mexican fare at authentic prices.
