The music selection was okay. Venue was filthy and everyone was sloppy drunk. Not a place for anyone with a sense of class.

If you don’t like being able to hear anything anybody says and are not concerned with personal space, freds is a good place for you

Fred’s free drinks on Friday nights with top shelf all you can drink for $ 10 is unbeatable. No better deal anywhere on the planet. Great atmosphere on Friday nights where the drink floweth quickly and abundantly. Never been on any other night, but if you like getting wrecked for cheap with a couple hundo of your best friends, there’s no better spot.

$ 10 cover on Friday nights gets you all you can drink from 8−10pm. That includes Crown, Goose, Jäger, & red bull. Yes, it gets crowded fast. The music is loud and the speakers sound like they’re about to blow. The music changes from country to old school hip hop to new shit I’ve never even heard of, quite the interesting mix. People get drunk, early, and start making it rain with the bar’s napkins and straws. Girls are grinding on each other like their lives depend on it. It’s a mess. But a beautiful $ 10 mess.

Freds is always a good time! Great drink specials, great crowd, easily the best place to party in baton rouge.

Was looking through old college pics(10 years ago… wtf already?) and ran into some pics that looked like they were from Fred’s. Here’s a reconstruction of what I can remember… $ 1 shots and free Jäger around midnight when they play Thunderstruck right after the LSU4th Qtr song. Nothing else really needs to be said. Not only that but holy hookup fest and a lot of shameless grinding. Gotta love that DJ for playing old school Hot Boys Friday nights before a big SEC game were the nights. All the opposing fans coming to hit up our joints, and a lot of shit talking. Straight up Animal House, southern size. Might’ve made this whole review up, because most of my memories of Fred’s are pretty fuzzy.

ehh. i wasnt impressed. I know I’m about to come off like an old man but i thought the music was to loud for the size. There was a good crowd and two bars. The 2nd bar was tiny and only serviced by one bartender but he was quick so waiting wasn’t an issue. The mens restroom is small and the door is left open most of the time so if you want privacy try the alley. The BIGSHOTS made up for all the downfalls. You should pop on in when your in Tigeralley
