I like to drop by here whenever I go to the farmers market. We ordered the ratatouille crêpe and a nutella crêpe. The flavor of the fillings was pretty great, the raratouille one had a bit too much mozarella though. Melted mozarella isn’t the easiest thing to bite through. My only complaint is that I felt the crêpe itself could be cooked a bit more through. It wasn’t very crispy aside from the edges.

I’m from LOSANGELES, I was looking for a quick bite to eat. I ran into this cute place. I had an egg, ham, and cheese crêpe. DELICIOUS! Thank you

this grill connected to the Holiday Inn Express off College Rd. very limited menu, fairly good beer selection. I had nachos with chili which were«good»…no sour cream/guacamole. rest of menu sort of so-so. lots of TV’s all over, but night I was there all were stuck one channel and employees couldn’t fix. if you stay at hotel this is the breakfast area… BEWARE a glass of juice NOT included… cost $ 1.09!

I was looking for something different for lunch and I work downtown and always see this place so I decided to give them a chance and now im regretting it I ordered the Cubano all I can say is it a sure bland and rhe flavors dont mesh well together so I dont think I will be back anytime soon all though I do want to try the breakfast part of the menu I want to give my pallet a break before I go back the service was also very suspect the young man that checked me out seemed like he didn’t want to work there at all

Would have been nice if they’d remember to hold the pesto aioli on the chicken caprese; I asked for it off for a reason(allergy) and they added anyway… I even overheard them discussing the fact that it’d been added but I wasn’t sure which of my orders they’d added it to until after I’d left and had taken a bite. Not ok that they willfully ignored such a simple request. Update: and when I called to explain what happened… they hung up on me. Very unprofessional.

Never honestly had crepes for lunch so was skeptical up front. I ordered the Vietnamese on wheat, and I think my mouth is still watering for it. I typically prefer crispy, so thank goodness the sogginess(sp?) of the crêpe was balanced by the crunchy bean sprouts. The lettuce got soggy too, but the tenderness of the pork overcame that. Will definitely go back and try something else on their very extensive menu that includes breakfast and waffles on Wednesdays — Yummy!

Unfortunately, i am not going to be as generous with my stars as the other Unilocal reviewers. I LOVE crepes… so much that when me & my hubby lived in Los Angeles, we almost signed a contract to cook & sell crepes at a farmer’s market on Saturday mornings! So, I know my crepes! Crêpe places are lacking in Baton Rouge, so folks who have never had them do not really know what to compare them to. I ordered a simple strawberry & Nutella filled crêpe… batter was limp… too plain Jane for me! Priced too high, I think! I was not impressed one bit… sorry.

Omg. Try the chicken and waffles on Wednesdays. Totally gluttonous lunch but so yummy. I have had some some other crepes that are yummy and better for you(wheat batter is an option). Their soup options sound yummy. Hopefully I can try some soon. In the Main Street Market so it is a quick lunch if you do not have a bunch of time.

This place is(semi-unfortunately) super convenient to the office where I work once per week. Yep, they’re open(in the Main Street Market) during the work week, I believe from the morning to the early afternoon. They make a mean sweet crêpe — I’m a fan of the plain Nutella one, personally. It really hits the spot on a particularly long day of super exciting data entry! The only reason I didn’t give them five stars(seriously, that Nutella crêpe has pretty much saved my life) is that I got a savory crêpe once, and it was way too salty — maybe from the brie? I couldn’t finish it. So I will stick with dessert, as I prefer anyway. TIP: If you only have a 30 minute lunch, better go on the early or late side because this place gets busy and crêpe-making is not a speedy task. There gets to be a pretty big line at prime lunch time.

Can’t believe I have not reviewed them yet! Their crepes are simply delicious! I love the Chicken Caprese — I always ask them to go easy on the chicken, cuz usually there is a LOT of chicken in it and I tend to waste. The Ratatouille is pretty darn good too. And I cannot say enough about the Chicken Noodle soup — absolutely amaaaazinggg! Love coming here for lunch. the lines get long, so I usually try to get here after 12:30 pm. The fact that they take AmEx and use Sqaure(which makes everyone super cool), is always a plus! One of these days, I am going to find the time to haul my butt here for breakfast! :p

TIPS: Do not go when the short guy with bear is making the crêpe. He always put less cheese and«forgot» certain ingredients. The tall guy, which I believe is the owner, apparently is more generous and has better memory

Go Ya-Ya’s Crepes is located in downtown Baton Rouge inside the Main Street Market. They are open for breakfast and lunch on weekdays and on Saturdays. They are basically a booth with seating near by. They serve sweet and savory crepes. The crepes are about $ 7.50, are very large, and very good. It’s the only place in Baton Rouge specializing in crepes so it’s definitely unique to the area. Since it’s not a stand-alone place, you have to either street park(which can be a pain sometimes) or park in the nearby parking garage(and pay). If you work downtown or find yourself downtown on Saturday, check them out. Really great value for a good, unique and filling meal.
