Im always craving this place. I get the buffalo chicken sandwich and it is huge. Love their HOLYMACARONI appetizer. And i love their homemade chips and blue cheese dip. They also have like 10 sauce flavors. What i dont like is all the loud drunk people and college kids so i try to go for lunch or order to go.

Food has remained consistent since it opened. But service has gotten worse and worse at this location. So bad tonight I asked for money back and walked out without my food.

They did a great job today. The food was good. The manager was very accommodating with my special needs.

Never had anything from here I did not enjoy. From the appetizers to the desserts are delicious. I really don’t care for other type of meals outside of wings from other wing spots but Plucker’s is different. Seems like everything they place on that item is made to perfection. If you’re curious on what to try, you should try the Spicy Ranch(which are not spicy) w/loaded fries or Ranch Fries or(lol) the Macaroni & Cheese. They also have great beverage and wing deals daily.

A Hooters themed joint without the women? Or is it a bar and grill with the focus on wings? Either way this is a pleasant and enjoyable location with many tvs, staff who are generally friendly and almost alwAys competent. Also food ordered is almost always brought out quick. I have never had burgers or chicken sandwiches but those dining with me who have indicate portions are large and tasty. My experience is with the wings and appetizers. There is amongst us some discussion between Hooters and here as to which wings were better – but both are more than acceptable. Pluckers has more flavors than hooters. Pluckers appetizers are also seemingly better however hooters has more seafood selections from an appetizer and entrée situation. Another distinction between hooters and pluckers is that pluckers’ bar area is more prominent than hooters.

Ok, they get one star because they’re a wing joint and I ordered a burger. On the other hand, I specifically asked that the burger be medium rare. I even said«Please ask them to be very careful not to over cook it. I really dislike a dry burger.» What I got was the equivalent in taste, texture, and thickness of charred cardboard. Never going back. Sorry guys. You totally blew that one.

This is truly a sports bar! TVs surround the bar with several games so everyone is happy. Great way to watch the game with friends!

I’ve heard so much about this place, I’m finally able to give it a try. I hate Louisiana weather sometimes. It was freezing cold this morning. This afternoon, it is in the mid 60’s and the restaurant still has the heater blowing on you when you first enter the building. I literally have sweat running down my forehead and I haven’t even eaten the sauce yet. I ordered The Bypass Burger which was described as: «Who said Pluckers is healthy? A hamburger topped with bacon, cheddar, grilled onions, and jalapeños.» It was all that and more. I would eat one of these burgers everyday of the week if I could. It was accompanied by an order of waffle fries. My wife ordered a Boneless Wings Basket which was described as «10 oz. of hand-breaded chicken tenders tossed in your favorite wing sauce. Served with your choice of side.» She chose to not have her tenders tossed in any sauce.(She is a ketchup girl). She got a side cup of «Buffalo Hot» sauce for me to experiment with. I dipped one of my waffle fries into the sauce, slid the tater into my mouth, gave it a chew and swallowed it down. Within seconds, my tongue was telling me that something was happening. Within 20 seconds, I felt the burn. «Buffalo Hot» was listed as a 4 out of 5 flame on their heat scale. Their 4 was my 5. It was one of the hottest sauces I had ever tried, but it was not a bad burn. Sometimes folks forget flavor in lieu of heat. This sauce had flavor. All said and done, great visit. Our server was given a table of around 10 people so we felt a little neglected. No drink refills for us. The food was awesome. The heat being on was a bad thing on my part. I felt like I was going to have heat induced nausea. My wife said the tenders were the best she had ever had, and my burger was a top 5 burger. We will be back!!!

Pluckers has great quality as a chain. Usually there’s a bit of a wait if you go around dinner time. This location consistently messes up to go orders, but the Pluckers taste and quality is still present. If you try Pluckers, the bleu cheese potato chip appetizer is incredible. It’s something I never would’ve thought to make. Other apps to try: holy macaroni(I always sub out the offered sauce for ranch) and fried pickles(they make them with pickle spears instead of chips, which is my preference). The boneless wings are gigantic. If you get a monster basket, you’ll likely have leftovers or have enough to share with a friend. I usually ask for an extra ranch or bleu cheese for the wings in the boneless basket. I’ve started ordering traditional, and they’re incredible wings. My favorite sauces are goldrush and honey bbq.

NEVERCOMEHERE! came here at 1 am and they close at 2am. The«hostess» gave us a buzzer and everything bc there will be a wait even though the place WASNOTBUSY. After 12 minutes of waiting THEHOSTESSWITHTHEATTITUDETOLDUSTHATTHEREWASNOSERVERAVAILABLETOHVE A TABLEOF6. WTF? I worked in the restaurant business for many years and a good manger will never let this happen. We left and went to the location near LSU. This place has workers who are VERY unprofessional. The hostess and severs here need to be retrained because if this is their work ethic, they will make any establishment look bad. PLEASEPLUCKERSONBLUEBONNETHIRENEWSTAFFORCLOSEEARLIERTHAN2am!!! Pluckers is a great place to sit in the afternoon and drink a beer. The service is good and the food is worth trying. Just had the buffalo chicken sandwich with the spicy sauce and I really liked it. You can’t go wrong ordering the waffle cheese fries.

My family and I always loved to go to Pluckers on a week night if we didn’t feel like cooking. Cool atmosphere and very kid friendly ! Service is mediocre sometimes but the food is awesome! Also the 4 $ drinks are pretty good and they include some of your more popular liquor such as Patron and Jack Daniels.

I took a trip here before going to watch the LSU game. It’s a nice little stop in and go to lunch place if you want to come in and try it. The atmosphere is good, and all the sports games are on TV as you walk in. They had some college football games on when I came in. My group tried the fried pickles, which weren’t what I expected. They aren’t the little ones, they are the huge sticky ones that only have about three or so in the appetizer. I always get these wherever they are, but I agree that the wedges aren’t my favorite. Anyway, the other appetizers such as the wings were good tasting. Great ones to have before your meal. I tried a patty melt and it was a little greasy, but the tenderness of it was great. The flavor is always good on these things. I always loved trying patty melts from Steak N Shake, and Whataburger, but this one beats them all. It’s a nice little menu with meals that aren’t too high on the prices, so go ahead and order what you feel like getting. The staff was a little slow, but they kept my glass full when I ran out of my beverage, and also very polite when the food was brought. Just needed to work on some appetizers, but other than that, A-OK! If you want to stop in before watching your LSU Tigers play, or just for a nice lunch, try Plucker’s. Some good tasting pregame food right there.

Well I celebrated my birthday with some friends and family here and I was very disappointed. My servicer wasn’t pleasant at all and came and threw straws on the table. It’s very upsetting because I absolutely love pluckers and to celebrate my birthday here it wasn’t pleasing. Our food came out and the mild wings looked like they didn’t have no sauce on them so they had to re toss them in the wing sauce. Me and my guest were disappointed but nonetheless enjoyed each others company.

Met friends for football draft talk at this location. We had the appetizer plater. The cheese sticks were huge and gooey. The fried Mac and cheese had too much sage for my taste. The boneless wings were moist and flavourful. We followed it up with a wing platter. Loved the garlic parmesan and medium wings. Drinks were reasonable in price and the have angry ball on the menu, my favorite drink! We are looking forward to going back for trivia night.

If you want to do lunch during the work week and only have an hour, don’t eat here. If you can’t do lunch in 1 hour then don’t be open for lunch. There is no reason to not be able to serve a table of eight lunch in one hour. I shouldn’t have to take my entire lunch back to work with me to eat at my desk. It’s not like they were really busy today, but that should have been my clue.

My son suggested this place for lunch. Let me start off by saying do not come to Plucker’s at lunch time. It literately took 20 before our food arrived to the table. With that being said, our food was delicious and I was very pleased with what I ordered. I had the boneless chicken basket. The chicken breast was very large in size and the flavor(Spicy BBQ) was on point! The waffle fries are so good. *I thoroughly recommend that sauce* As for the waiter, he completely rubbed me the wrong way. Granted he was working the bar and the bar tables, but he never payed attention to his patrons. We wanted extra ranch sauce so we TRIED to get the guys attention and he NEVER looked our way. We waved, danced and almost started shouting and he still didn’t look our way. We had to stop the young lady passing by to get us extra sauce. When he finally looked our way, I asked him for our check. He brought the check a few minutes after I asked him for it. I put my credit card in the slot and placed it on the edge of the table for quick access. Once again, we NEVER looked to see if we were ready to close out our check. I waited ten minutes then I decided to walk up to the bar so he could run my card. I would not recommend the service here. However the food was great.

I’m a vegetarian. I used to eat meat and that is when I was introduced to Pluckers. I am a Pluckers card carrying member which gives you free food. The reason I come here is because Pluckers is Texas-based, as am I. It’s like a piece of heaven. The Pluckers here aren’t at all like the ones back home(way better sweet tea and WAY better service) BUT the food is delicious. I suggest you get 10 or 15 wing combo with half lemon pepper and half medium wings. Or, my usedtobefavoritewhenIatemeat: spicy lemon pepper wings. Good for a dinner date, watching a sporting event or my usual: small gatherings! Oh and for vegetarians: they have salads or a grilled cheese sandwich. Sorry, not many options but still a cool place!
