So… Late September of 2015, I receive a call from Louisiana and it’s a guy telling me that my zk-22 is coming in via fed-ex in a few days. He verifies address and e-mail. Few days pass, and after 2 ½ years of waiting, I receive the package on my doorstep. Red Jacket, you have closed a chapter in my life full of hatred and mistrust for you. So on to the product… The zk-22 polycarbonate shell has some weight to it and is constructed with a heavy metal trigger linkage. Also, body is extremely rugged and the build quality is extremely solid. I am impressed. Red jacket redeemed itself because after 2 ½ years, they still remembered my order. I have always tried to take under consideration that they are a small gun shop catering to everyone in the the US and the popularity of the show SONSOFGUNS made it extremely difficult for them to stay on top of the orders. I will be posting some zk-22 pictures and probably do a third review of the product after its complete.

Still have yet to hear anything from these guys. I have sent numerous emails, have called a bunch of times with no answer, and have even filed a BBB complaint with no response. I have contacted a class action attorney and started the process to pressing legal actions towards this company. If you are reading this and have a similar issue like mine(specifically the ZK-22) please message me if you’d like to be part of the lawsuit.

It has now been ONEYEAR since I ordered a ZK-22 stock for a Ruger 10⁄22. Now I realize that the company is in transition however, I called for a refund … A SIMPLEREFUND … and the only thing I get is a «Get in line» e-mail rsponse. Clearly RJF never plans on refunding my money. If I weren’t a nicer fella I would park my a$$ at RJF and whip the living CRAP out the first man I recognize. DONOTBUY A DOGGONETHINGFROMTHEM… NOT A HAT, A T-SHIRT OR A FUKINKEYFOB. THIEVESTHIEVESTHIEVES. I hope Will Hayed rots in that deep hole they are going to stick him in.

I wish I could give RJF zero stars!!! Absolutely atrocious customer service, communication, timeliness of deliveries… you name it! Unfortunately, I can’t comment on the quality if the rifle I ordered, because I STILLHAVEN’T RECEIVEDIT!!! And, I ordered and paid for it TWOYEARSAGO! I know, sounds like it should be an f’ing joke… but NO! Every time I call, I get another delayed shipping date. It’s criminal, seriously. I would HIGHLY recommend staying as far away from this company as possible! You’ve been warned. There are a ton of other companies out there that make better products, and have INFINITELYBETTER service! I’ll update this review when(IF) I get the rifle. I’ve emailed RJF once again. We’ll see if they make any sort of gesture of good faith for my extraordinary patience.

**update, 6/28/14…still no stock, and still no communication. I email them twice a month, every month asking for updates and they either don’t respond(hence the twice a month) or just send back lies and never answer the questions. Website has said the same BS for 4 months in a row, February must have been such a huge month for them that it’s taken 6 months to put out the purchases… I call BS, these guys just plain suck at customer service and communication. I have a distinct feeling that there product won’t be that great either… I mean how could it with such a terrible company! Gave two stars solely because I really enjoy the show, otherwise it would have been one. Ordered a bullpup stock almost a year ago and it has been an awful experience. For a short time, they kept their website updated bi-weekly with backlog information and things were fine, then about 9 months ago that changed to only updating it every 3 months, and now by the time they update it, it gets update two days prior to when it is going to expire. Emails don’t work either. At first they we pretty good about getting back to me, then they just stopped or replied with emails that contained ZERO information about what I was asking about, mainly please update your website and when might I expect my order to ship. Like I said, love the show, love the characters, hate the business. Definitely super negative on the customer service end. I will not be doing business with these guys again… and I really wanted to, but you just cant treat people like this and expect to retain customers. Guess they just don’t care.

Great people. Some of these reviews are ridiculous, and just nonsense. They are extremely friendly, and are very helpful. They area family operation, and as such, can poem their doors when they want to. If you don’t like it, go get your cool t shirt from outdoor world.

I was on a business trip and we were close to the shop so we decided to visit. We are big fans of the show, however we were not looking for guns or ammo, just a T-Shirt or 2. And that’s what they provide at this shop. It’s a little touristy place for fans of the show to stop by, maybe get a glimpse of the folks on TV and by a T-shirt. They were friendly enough. We bought some souvenirs and chatted a little, then left. Seemed like that’s exactly what this shop is for. Just expect that it is small and a little out of the way. But for fans, it’s a neat little 10 –15 minute stop to where your headed to.

If I could give this less than one star, I would, if you are going at store opening time, forget it, they were an hour and a half late the day I was there. THe parking lot was full, we all went in. No guns, no ammo, and unless you wear a small, no shirts either. Total waste of time. They should be ashamed of themselves. Bought a shirt, and they didn’t even give me a bag to put it in,…Call before you go there, these people could care less.

I’ve order my ZK-22 since November 16th and had sent multiple emails asking for status. My last email I’ve received from them was they no longer provide status on order not within the six months. When I’ve order the product, it show that it was supposed to ship late 2012. One email I’ve received was suppose to be early 2013. Now I still have no update or email from them. I’ve tried calling and got the run around. Can someone from redjacket just give me an update!! PLEASE!!!
