I’ve black balled this place twice now. Myself and a colleague both receive raw chicken in our salads and the salad dressing tasted off. Never going back. Serop’s Express is a few blocks away and is much better and cleaner.

This is located ion North Boulevard near the courthouse — now there is a subway, fresh junkie, Jolie pearl, Sadat, cc’s, and roly poly in this block so there is a lot of variety — this is the Lebanese offering. Not sure if it is the best in town but it provides the downtown folks on the north boulevard side a different offering. The place is set up like a cafeteria — you walk in and order with the good in front of you. The workers are polite and helpful.

Great little lunch spot. The service is friendly and efficient, and the food consistently delicious. It can get pretty busy, but the line moves quickly. I know Serop’s tends to be the«go-to» for take out Greek food downtown, but I think this place is way better. Their prices are much better as well. Definitely try the Fatoush salad, which is topped with their cucumber salad. While I prefer the gyro, the chicken is always moist and good too.

I visited this restaurant when I had jury duty. It is certainly a good place to eat at if you are in the downtown area. They have a large selection of Greek and Lebanese items, and, unlike many local restaurants, you can get certain items often sold as just appetizers as side orders, like felafel and moussaka. The size of their tables is an issue, but it is not enough of a deterrent, especially given many downtown workers likely eat there solo. Also, they do have an excellent Lebanese tea.

Update: their gyro salad is the best. I get that almost every time. It’s a keeper. I like the place. When I go, I get the gyros with the Caponata, which they call Moussaka, and Baklava. The food is fresh, simple, well flavored, and quick. The only flaw is the size of their trays compared to their tables; I recommend ditching the trays as soon as you sit down.
