Works in a pinch, not the best customer service, not the worst. This is the location if you are looking for some help for the day, check the parking lot.

I know big box stores are more focused on price than service; but my last experience has taught me to pay more at for the customer service and associate knowledge at a local nursery. The apathy at this location is just not worth the savings. Although I will say that I am giving it 2 stars instead of 1 because the manager listened to my concerns. If I do return to this store it is because of her.

The staff at this location is very friendly and helpful. I always visit this location because it is convenient. Pretty much the same as the other Home Depots in Baton Rouge.

Not my favorite Home Depot in town but it’ll do if you’re in a bind. The customer service is better at Perkins/Highland store. Of course they offer the same items at the same prices but if you’re in the middle of the two… don’t pick this location. They do usually have people here looking for work so if you need help planting those pansies… this is your store.

Very poor customer service. I was looking for a peg to support a shelf and it was a real pain getting someone to help me. The employees looked so uninterested in being there. As one other reviewer noted, they did seem very poorly staffed, so I guess the people there were overworked and cranky! Anyway, I found what I wanted but no thanks to the people here!

Not a big fan of this location! They’re not bottom of the bucket but getting someone intelligent to answer the phone, hold an intelligent conversation, and help you with your problem is hard to come by at this location. Sad but true. I had an employee put me on hold by putting the phone in his lap while he was driving the forklift so I had to listen to the BEEEPBEEEPBEEEP very loudly for a few minutes before I couldn’t take it anymore, so hung up & called back. This location didn’t have many ceiling fans in stock to choose from. I found more on their website. As for dishwashers, they only carried the worst brands like GE and they were poorly installed in the displays where you couldn’t even open and shut them. Once I showed up near closing time and when it was straight up 10p.m., I was rushed to leave and basically escorted to the door and kicked out(metaphorically) by no later than 12 minutes after. not being allowed to finish looking at the dishwashers. I thought that was so rude! I wasn’t going to purchase so I guess the employee figured I shouldn’t look either. Wow! Well, because of him, this location lost our sale and we chose to deal with another location(Highland Rd. location) who were like night and day difference. This location had unstocked shelves, scarce employees, the store was dirty, the cashier and customer service girls never looked at you, greeted you, or smiled. Just a poor location to do business with. Will use a different location from now on.
