The UPS Store

Very negative experience. Needed to ship a few items leftover from an event in the same shipping as what we received, but the older UPS man was saying «I wouldn’t do it that way» «I can’t do that» «I’m not insuring that» and offered no alternative solution. Very demeaning, rude, and unhelpful.

Been in this family run location a few times due to it’s location for shipping out and also for getting some color and B&W copies.
Always decent and friendly service. Working for a family owned business myself, I like to support them when I can.

Let me start off by saying that it’s my fault for not asking the price first because I assumed (and we all know what happens when you assume.) that it was going to cost $ 1.50 per page which is what the one on S. Sherwood charges. Well it wasn’t. My total for faxing 4 pages was $ 7.50 ! That’s just ludicrous! Well after I left the store I was in complete shock because I’ve faxed stuff before but from another location and I remembered it being waaay cheaper. So I called 4 other stores and this one was still the most expensive one at $ 3.50/1^st pg and $ 1.25/each additional. All the other stores were $ 2.50/1^st page and $ 1.25/$ 1.50 for each additional page with the S. Sherwood location being the cheapest at $ 1.50 per page.(All these prices are for long distance faxes.) From now on I will only be going to my usual UPS store. I guess if you own your own UPS store you can just charge whatever you want for services (like faxing) and products. So if you’re thinking about getting boxes, dry ice, bubble wrap, tape, etc… you might want to call different stores and check prices because you might find a better price at another store and save yourself some money.

Stopped in. Was able to ship a package here. It arrived on time. UPS did their job.
