I started going to this gym in October of 2014, and joined by Nov. 2014. I absolutely love it. I was looking for a more challenging workout, due to the plateau that I had reached. This workout is challenging, but will definitely get you the results that you seek if you stay consistent. The staff is wonderful, you are being trained by «real fighters» these guys push you to the max, and make sure that you are working out properly, and giving your all. I have been to many gyms, and have found that this is so worth the money I pay. It never gets easy, and is always challenging and exiting.

The trainers manage to squeeze the most intense workout into 60 minutes of training. The trainers find new ways to keep you motivated. This gym is perfect for people who like group workouts. I’ve never been to a boring workout yet. Just when you think you know the workout routine the trainers switch it up. You’ll see results if you put in work. Come ready to learn some boxing moves, and leave feeling energized! You can sign up for a guest pass to see if this is a good fit for your lifestyle. Check them out, you’ll be glad you did.

I drove from New Orleans to train here because I knew the bjj program has a great reputation(and because I’ve gotten technically dismantled by some its students in competitions). The experience couldn’t have been better. The instruction is as good as you’ll find, a super beneficial combination of immediately applicable technique, lucid communication, and positive reinforcement. All my training partners were unerringly welcoming, hard working, and helpful. It’s the type of gym where if you love jiu jitsu, they love you. If you’re already training at any level and are visiting the area, make it a point to stop in. If you live in the Baton Rouge area and thinking of trying out BJJ, go here and I promise you’ll be happy you did.

I have trained at various kickboxing and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu gyms throughout Louisiana, and UFC gym sherwood and Acadian are two of the best. The Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu program and Kickboxing programs are led by world class instructors which is a rare commodity for Louisiana. The best aspect of the gym is the environment, after being here for a little over two years I have met many lifetime friends and look forward to attending classes everyday.

I’ve been a member here for over two years and still enjoy the workout. The trainers make it fun and keep it fresh. Sherwood has a slightly more mature crowd but either location is worth a try.
