I went to go pickup my prescription that was filled by my doctor. The wait to do that was like 20 minutes and I’m the end of the 20 minutes they told me that they don’t accept my insurance which is a bum cause I waited that long and they still haven’t told me. WASTEOFTIME!

In my estimation this location, which is open 24 hours, is far busier than any other Walgreens I have shopped — in Baton Rouge or otherwise so I give them this location a pass for the times the place appeared dirty or messy and the times when the staff was a little short — but the high majority of the time the staff are polite and helpful and friendly — especially some of the familiar, longer-tenured ones. My only complaint with this location, which might be more unique to me rather than the norm, is that sometimes sales items are in short supply or gone at the end of the sales period and sometimes they are difficult to locate — but overall this is a location I highly recommend.

This is my favorite Walgreens location in the city. The staff is so polite as they greet every customer with a smile when they enter. Used my Walgreens app to order photographs late last night and they were ready far before the«1 hour» quote time. The store is always clean and items aren’t cluttered; easily accessible. My son’s prescriptions are always ready for easy pick-up…

I’d been getting my prescriptions filled at another Walgreen’s location and had THEWORST experiences each month. It got so bad that I switched to CVS but they didn’t carry the brand I preferred. I decided to try this location and its been great since. The staff is very professional and quick. It being 24 hour is really convenient. Glad I made the change.

I come here all the time and THEPHARMACYSTAFFDESERVES5STARS. The employees are always friendly, courteous and helpful. I’ve never had any problems with any of the employees, in fact they always go out of their way to help me. Actually, the only reason I still come here is because of the pharmacy staff. The girls all know me and they’re all so nice. My problem is with the very long lines inside AND at the drive thru every single time. They are definitely short staffed. If you want a little bit less of a wait you can come after 11pm(not on the weekends) but other than that the wait is always ridiculous. They need 2 employees on the registers inside and 1 just to deal with the drive thru. The phones are always ringing off the hook inside and I can tell the girls are doing the best they can to answer them too. It’s a 24 hour location so they’re ALWAYS busy, tons of people come here. It’s definitely NOT the staffs fault that there aren’t enough employees. They are ALWAYS running around like crazy doing a great job from what I can see. They’re short staffed and corporate needs to take care of this problem. I guess if you’re awake at 2am during the week you could try come pick up your prescriptions and maybe you won’t have to wait in line so long. Good luck!
