STAYAWAYFROMTHISPLACE Both the office and most of the maintenance staff are incredibly rude and unhelpful. One maintenance employee in particular seems to be extremely biased in regards to which tenants he makes complaints against for trash/broken blinds/etc. My roommate and I, as well as most other tenants in our immediate area, would occasionally put a trash bag out by our door with the intent of carrying it to the dumpster(which is not in a convenient location) later. Our apartment was the only one that ever received a written notice of our«lease violation». We were also notified that we «violated our lease» because there were a few broken blinds on one set in our living room because the ones they provided are old and cheap and were able to be mangled just buy our dog’s tail hitting them. Ever since the first trash«violation» we received the management was unrelenting in claiming«violations» for every tiny thing they could think of. They even tried to claim that we had an unauthorized pet(we don’t), but they never issued a citation to one of our neighbors that had 3 dogs, 2 of which were unauthorized, that she let run around without leashes. Besides being the worst quality possible, the blinds were also completely filthy when we moved in– one set even had red stains on them that honestly looked like blood. Our ice maker also never worked and the door on our refrigerator had trouble staying shut because the lining that is supposed to seal it is warped. We called maintenance about the door and their solution was just to try to BENDTHEDOOR so that more of the lining would make contact. The air conditioning also did not work when we first moved in INTHEMIDDLEOFTHESUMMER, and it took them almost a week to come fix it. Bottom line, although the apartments are a decent size for the price, they’re actually complete sh** and not at all worth the frustration that comes with dealing with all of the horrible employees here. And if you do choose to live here, do yourself a favor and at least try to avoid receiving any packages that will get dropped off at the front office. As soon as you walk in it’s apparent that the girls who work there do nothing but sit on their a**es all day and they take on a sh***y attitude the second they see you. They«ask» if you need help as though your presence is insulting and you’re wasting their time by just coming to pick up your mail. Now paying $ 100 dollars more for a smaller apartment in my new complex seems like a dream compared to this place.

Don’t do it. I finally moved out of Willow Bend and couldn’t be happier. While I was living here 2 people were robbed in the parking lot and had their money stolen. A month after I moved out, my former roommate who was still living there at the time, informed me our apartment had been broken into and they stole the 70in TV and forced a friend of ours to lay on the bed while the accomplice finished robbing our apartment. The gate is also always broken from people SOMEHOW running into it. Don’t be fooled and think because it’s gated that it’s a safe complex. People ALWAYS just follow people in while the gate is still open. As long as people are going through the gate, it stays open, which is how just about every gated complex is in general. This place has become very ghetto overtime. All too often you’ll see the ghetto kind of cars with their stupid big rims and heavy bass going through the complex. Sometimes people just like sticking to stereotypes I guess. Also, the quality of the appliances are very low. While I lived here, our washing machine broke and flooded our kitchen and part of our living room. The water then went down through the walls and flooded our downstairs neighbor’s apartment as well which forced him to have to move out his apartment. The garbage disposal also broke. The only good think I can really say I enjoyed about living here, was that since we lived on the second floor, we had a nice area with two skylights. We also used the fireplace a good bit during the winter which is really nice to have in an apartment.
