We stopped on Friday night at 9:00p.m., they are open til 10:30. We were told they would make something if it was out on buffet since they were not stocking any more fresh food on the buffet. All the food that we put on our plates from buffet was lukewarm, they offered to heat up in microwave. It was explained the buffet was turned off to start cooling down for the night. The coffee was not real, they served lukewarm water in a pot and gave us instant coffee packets. I have never seen that done anywhere. We would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. If you are open until 10:30, food should be hot and ready until at least 10:00. It was a waste of our time and money. The waitress said we should have stopped earlier before they shut off the warmers. Overall the saddest excuse for a restaurant we have been to in a long time.

it’s okay, they have a good selection but the chicken is not white meat and it’s not good quality food. After eating here, I felt sick. I’d be more worried about getting good poisoning here than other places.

Really good food. Great buffet, price not bad for two. Love that it’s not too far from me.

Do yourself a favor and spend your money elsewhere, the food here just isn’t good overall. Usually, crab rangoon and fried rice are foods that I can safely count on being decent at Chinese buffets but these offerings, as well as most everything that I tried at this buffet, were terrible. I will say that the service is decent as all of the staff were pleasant. Also, there were three things that I did find that I did not dislike: fried potatoes, fried clams and a vegetable medley… other than that, nothing was all that tasty and none of these three things are Chinese soooooooo…

Best chinese buffet that I’ve ever been to. Exceptional quality and always fresh. They don’t have the biggest selection but what they offer is great. Also great to order off the menu or to go.

Hands down the worst chinese buffet I have ever been to. When the lady at the counter asked how everything was, I began to tell her and she just brushed it off and told us what our total bill was(to get us moving along I guess). I didnt want anything for free, I wanted someone to change the food out because it was old and had obviously been sitting there all day. The only reason I gave it one star is because our server was great. She was the only reason and voice that had anybody change out the RICE, however everything else just sat there. We will never be coming back.

I have been hooked on this place for years! I swear by the Chow Mein Cantonese style. It’s the best of both worlds with noodles and sauce!

Excellent service and very good food. Sure, it is Americanized Chinese food, but it is tasty and not too oily. Teriyaki Chicken is almost perfect and they even have steak! AYCE lunch at $ 10! One wonders how they can turn a profit. A pasta with 4 little shrimps and a small cup of soup at an Italian restaurant will easily double that amount and will leave one hungry.

Very good food and friendly service. Has your typical buffet style food but if you get it fresh its the best around. IE not your typical shrimp but shrimp scampi. Mushrooms were cooked and not just warmed in water and Hong Kong Steak slices with some A1 style sauce on it that was very good. This is not as busy as the other Chinese buffets around so the food isn’t replaced as often. My clam strips tasted like they were up there for several hours and were getting dried out. My wife had the Sesame Chicken and she thought the sauce flavor was to sweet. So if you want to go make sure its busy to get the best flavored Chinese buffet in town.

I think that the Hong Kong restaurant is one of if not the best Chinese restaurant in the Battle Creek area. The buffet that they have is usually well stocked with several choices. if you are into variety however this would not be the place to go. While many of the foods they have are very tasty the variety is somewhat limited compared too many of the other Chinese buffet restaurants in the Battle Creek area. But if you’re looking for a place to grab a quick bite to eat with a decent menu and don’t mind a limited buffet Hong Kong is a good place to go. As a tip try their hot tea it is some of the best I’ve ever tasted.

This restaurant was quite nice. I’ve tried Old China Buffet here in town and this buffet is far better quality of food for it being a buffet. There is ample parking in a private lot. The interior of the building is quite nice, and makes you feel you are in China almost. The server got us seated right away, and offered us menus to look at, and also suggested we look at the buffet and that she would come back with our drinks and then we would let her know what our decision was on dinner. One look at the buffet, and I knew what I was having. There is ample choices of food. They have a salad bar with fresh fruit. There is also some American food for kids to munch on if they don’t like Chinese food. I enjoyed the crab rangoon, steak with mushroom, seaseme chicken, beef lo mein, and stuffed mushroom caps. For drinks they have Coke products, ice tea, hot tea, and tomato juice. They do also offer a full regular menu as well. This is a must try, the food is so good.

The food at this place was nasty! I would not recommend going here at all. We got cashew chicken, chicken fired rice, fried won tons, and crab ragoon. Let me tell you, I have Chinese all the time but this wasn’t Chinese this was gross. the chicken looked like squid seriously. Go to New moon Chinese if you’re in the area instead of this place. We just had them tonight and they were great! Prices at both places were the same, very reasonable.

I went here with my wife, on a Sunday around noon. The service was excellent but the buffet was very much neglected. All the food had a dry crusty layer on top and the dishes with chicken or beef were tough and chewy. The lo mein was black and in edible. The worst part of it was the dozen or so Flys buzzing around that I know had just been crawling around all the buffet food pooping and barfing(that’s how Flys eat they barf on food and then eat the barf back up) all over. The pudding had black specks in it that I guess was fly turds. Overall I would never recommend anyone go here ever.

I’ve always had great food and service here. Visited a couple of days ago and had the Chicken Chow Mein Cantonese style and it was wonderful. So hot I had to wait a few minutes before I could even eat it. Tremendous amount of chicken in the dish. They also have a buffet which looked good but just not my thing that night.

Bleeeck! Ordered take out fro here last night and my sweet and sour pork was basically indelible. And this is a pretty basic dish, but the meat was nasty chewy and tasted like the oil was also used to fry dirty socks. The egg rolls were bad, egg drop soup was thick like a gravy. The husbands broccoli beef was ok. Also they have a sign that encourages you to tip on take out orders :-/which I would happily if the food was decent.

If you want a sit-down lunch with plenty of options to nibble upon, go here. It’s a self-serve buffet, but my drinks were refilled with perfect timing throughout the meal. It’s not gourmet eating, but it hits all the spots you’d expect it to. The bourbon chicken was quite good, and the egg rolls were just the right crispiness, without making your hands all oily when you picked them up. I’d recommend coming here when you want real food at a good price, but perhaps you don’t have a full hour for lunch. Or, I suppose, if you want to sample a dozen solid entrees.
