I must admit I was really nervous about trying a new place closer to my house but I was very happy with the outcome. I’m 20 weeks pregnant and I was in desperate need of a haircut. Amber was my stylist and she did great! I came in with thick long hair(all the way to my butt) and came out with the short haircut I wanted. The price was not bad at all and I will be going back again for sure :)

I just stopped in for an eyebrow wax on my way home, and I had an overall OK experience. I loved the waxer, Stephanie. She was very kind and took her time to shape my brows how I wanted. However, the girls at the front desk were snobby. So I was wearing my cowboy boots? I just came from the barn — this IS Battle Ground after all. I was a little put off at how they snubbed me. I like Stephanie but I don’t want to deal with those jerks again, so I probably won’t be back. A business is best when EVERYONE treats you like they appreciate you.

I just took my daughter to this salon yesterday for a color and trim. When I made the appointment I told the women that my daughter had an ombré color treatment in her hair and wanted to have it taken out. I asked if it would be a problem and she said no. When we came in we were on time and the girl that greeted us said to wait in the lobby. We waited for 10 minutes and then I went to the restroom and on my way there I saw the girl who greeted us and she was organizing the hair colors. After I returned to the lobby we waited another 5 minutes and the same girl came back in and said we could go back now. Turns out she was our styalist! Apparently she had an assignment to do and had to finish it before she could take my daughter in! Really odd! Then as we were showing her a photo of what my daughter wanted she said she could do it and went to get the hair color samples. The styalist(who’s name I cannot remember) said it was a «Balayage» treatment. We were like«ok, let’s do it». When she came back my daughter choose two colors to have in her hair. The styalist had left to consult with Tina(the owner) and then Tina came over to us to find out what we wanted, so we had to go over the whole thing AGAIN with her! We all finally came to an agreement on the colors. I should have taken my daughter out the front door that second! The stylist began separating my daughter’s extremely long hair into sections before she applied the colors. I knew it would take at least two hours because that’s how long it takes my stylist to do my hair with a base color, highlights, haircut, blow-dry and straighten, my medium length hair.(I go to a different salon). I came back 1 ½ hours later and find that the styalist was only half way finished with the coloring! I was completely shocked she had only gotten that far! When she left(for what ended up being one of three refills of color that I saw) I saw her license on the wall and noticed she only just graduated from beauty school 4 months ago! I was fuming mad thinking the owner dumped her brand new girl on my daughter, and the most difficult of hair-color treatments she has obviously ever done! The newbie stylist left my daughter to process for 20 minutes! When I got home(4 ½ hours later) I told my husband the entire saga of this salon debacle and how my daughter complained that her neck was itching, he told me it was because she had already been sitting and processing for the hour an a half with the beginning of the application before the stylist washed it out! So the early application of color sat much too long and was burning my daughter’s neck, not to mention all the damage it caused from being over processed! The stylist asked my daughter twice(once after the color issue was figured out and second before she went to wash her hair) how she wanted her hair finished — straight or curly, my daughter said straight(both times!) and the girl said ok and was ready to wash the color out. I said I’d run to pick up our dinner and be back. I figured it would take at least another hour to dry her hair and straighten it(that’s how long it takes me to do her hair). When I came back in 30 minutes I see all the lights in the salon are out and I walk in and my daughter is sitting in the lobby waiting for me and her hair is not straightened nor is it all dry and it’s frizzy! I was furious! After waiting 4 hours to have the newbie color her hair she doesn’t even finish it by styling it to look pretty! I look at my daughter’s hair and the color is only one solid color to boot! I ask a different stylist where our stylist is and I’m told to hold on, she will get the owner. Tina comes over and I ask her where our stylist is and why is my daughter’s hair still wet. She says that the stylist had to go home because she was supposed to leave at 7:00 and she already was 30 minutes over! I asked why she didn’t style her hair and Tina said that’s a separate price and she didn’t have time. I said no, that shouldn’t be separate pricing it should be the same and then I asked why I wasn’t told that I would be getting a freshly graduated student to work on my daughter’s hair. She said the stylist was doing a very good job and she did exactly what she was supposed to do. I said it would have been nice to have been told I was getting a new stylist because I would have asked for someone ELSE! Especially the difficulty of how complex the treatment was(getting the ombré out) it was obvious that it was too much for her. I also told her I couldn’t see the two colors for the so called«bayalage»! At that point I was so furious I just wanted out of the salon and asked how much I owed. I was told it was 165.00! I was floored! I said«It’s that much and my daughter’s hair isn’t even dried or styled the way she was told it would be!» I couldn’t believe it! Of course there was no tip left, only my last words, «I am not happy with this service»! This is the worst salon! Save your hair and don’t go here!

I had a year long growout that wasn’t quite long enough to cut out completely, so she was able to cut it to the length I wanted and color my hair so it looked like it faded into the remaining black hair at the bottom. I was there a good 2 ½ hours, but she was thorough *Update* I washed and styled my hair the next morning, I noticed my hair was drastically uneven. The cut I asked for was not asymmetrical, so not even sure what happened. Went back in to have fixed on Monday. I had Amber, a different stylist. She informed me there was a good INCH difference from the left side. There was very little layering done also. She took her time, layered it correctly, and even styled it by straightening it, which I was never offered the first time. Amber did a great job correcting the cut, and refused the tip I tried leaving. I will be going directly to her from now on. She gave me the cut I paid $ 50 for in the first place

Walked right in after looking at my eyebrows in my rear view mirror and they fixed them up right away! Just $ 15 for my brows, took about 10 minutes. The girls were super friendly but I was wearing sweatpants and a camisole and felt extremely awkward, like I should be wearing slacks and a vest to a salon. Other than the kind of ‘prissyness’ to the place, everything was great!

I got waxed here and they missed a lot of places. I also broke out after I got waxed, which has never happened before. Won’t ever get waxed here again, but their other services are great.

First time I came here, they were amazing and reasonable. On my second visit, for the same things done, the results were awful. I had a manicure and a weave. The weave did not result in the correct color, even though they had a record of it from my previous visit, and took a very, very long time to do. Almost three hours. Then, the manicurist barely handled my hands. She did very little with my nails(no oils, no trimming, nothing except a shellac treatment — which was in addition to the manicure). On top of that, I was excessively overcharged, even though their rates are posted. There was no explanation to why it was so much — just one final amount. Also –it took over four hours — just to do a weave and manicure — and it cost me the price of an airline ticket($ 240). I was speechless. Again, with no explanation as to how it could possibly have cost so much, and I did not even receive a breakdown in my receipt. Just a massive charge on my credit card. No response to my phone calls, either. Very, very disappointed.

Absolutely love the owner! She works behind the chair and has done so well for herself, she works hard on training her employees to get the best out of the industry. They have great promotions and sales on all the best products, Redken & Pureology. Continued education makes a difference, wouldn’t trust anyone else with my hair!

New to the area and found Beaux Vous. Beautiful salon and great staff. Sarah did a great job, she really listened to what I wanted. I was extremely happy and will be back. The prices were very reasonable. I think I found my new salon. Thanks so much.

I take my daughter here to have her hair cut and they do a decent job. The shop itself is beautiful and charming and the staff is very friendly. I don’t get my hair cut there though. They do have good stylists, but unless you know who to ask for they will give you whoever is new — which is fine if you don’t have a lot of issues to deal with. I’m a cancer patient. My hair finally grew back — but I’m on chemo for life — so my hair is just weird. I asked for someone who was REALLYGOOD with color. When I sat down and explained my situation the girl was a little unsure of what color(s) to use so she consulted another hair stylist there — okay. As she was doing my hair I asked her how long she had been working there. 3 weeks. Just out of beauty school. I should have turned and run — but she was halfway through with the color. I ended up a dark reddish brown(after specifically saying I didn’t want red). It quickly faded to orange. The hair cut was not great. I found someone in Portland who is familiar with«chemo hair» and it’s beautiful now but sadly I haven’t found someone in my home town who is capable of dealing with my «chemo hair». I’ll continue to take my daughter there — they do a fine job with her beautiful/healthy hair. But for me, I’m afraid I’ll have to travel to be sure my hair is done right. I just don’t feel like rolling the dice in this salon again.

If you’re looking for an aesthetician in Clark County, Lynnsay is your girl! You shouldn’t go anywhere else for waxing or facials.
