Best Western Battle Ground

Wish I could give it a better rating but I can’t. Staff was great, very helpful and informative. But it is a hotel not customer care facility. We rented the suite. The bathroom smelled so sour my wife couldn’t even bring herself to take a shower.

We were traveling to a Horse Expo in Vancouver. This place looked fairly new. It was clean. My biggest gripe. Beds were ok. They offered a hot breakfast every morning. It was good, Kept warm and everything was kept stocked. No riff raff around… so it was nice and quiet.
The only questionable thing was, two night while in the bed I caught a faint whiff of cigarette smoke a few times. I couldnt find the point it was coming from. But it wasnt anything over powering… and they did a good job of gitting rid of or covering up the aroma.
And i think they gave us the convention price of $ 58.00. That was for two queen beds in a sizable room.

Great hotel! Attentive service, clean and modern (and large!) rooms and furnishings. Breakfast was included and great (had lots of option, both cold and hot). Reasonably priced.

Everything about this hotel is great! The rooms are huge, the bathroom remodeled with great, clean materials, and the breakfast was awesome! The staff was so friendly, cheerful, and helpful! The pool looks great, although we were so tired when we got there we never had a chance to try it. They also have seemed rooms, and jacuzzi suite: If you’re in the area definitely stop by! My only tip for this location would be to add a fan in the bathroom for steam and stink :-) FYI breakfast is on the 2^nd floor

We stayed at the Best Western in Battle Ground for a wedding in April of 2013. My main concern about ANY hotel is cleanliness, and this hotel was very clean. They get five stars for that! The breakfast room was just fine, the beds were comfortable and it was a great deal. If you want a clean place and a good night’s rest, this is the place to be!

Friendly staff and great rooms. Nice breakfast buffet in the morning. Good to see a collection of fruit and healthy choices besides the usally waffles or muffins. Thank you staff for also helping reserve a room on my next stop further down in Oregon. Will come again.

Very Noisy Room — Shady Business Practices — Rude Staff
We stayed at this hotel two nights ago, and unfortunately did not have a good experience.
First, we found this hotel through a special offer online, and had chosen to pay extra upfront to have a weekend night during the valid period of the deal (through the end of August). When we called the hotel to reserve a room night however, they said that during the three weekends that we had available to travel they only had «theme rooms» available and we would have to pay an additional $ 35. Reluctantly, we agreed, because those were the only available nights. Online later, we found their website selling the theme rooms for $ 20 more than the room we had already paid for, not the $ 35 they had just charged us. When we mentioned this to the hotel staff, they said upgrades at this point (after we had already given non-​refundable payment) were $ 35 instead of the usual $ 20.
Next, on arrival we found that the theme room was the same size room that we had originally paid for, but it was positioned directly over the main street of the town, and was decorated with a vaulted ceiling, powder blue walls, and a floor to ceiling mural of Mt. St. Helens.
Finally, Things got worse as we realized that the room had nothing to keep the room from being filled with road noise. There were people literally drag racing outside the window at midnight — we got very little sleep.
When we talked to the staff about this the evening of check in and the morning of check out, they were rude and dismissive.
Their continental breakfast seemed good, the hotel was clean, but we were only staying one night and needed courteous staff and a good night sleep. We will not stay here again.

My hubby and I stayed here on Easter Eve, so we wouldn’t have to drive home ‘tipsy’…Fantastic King room, very large. Only paid like 85 bucks, so it is a bargain! Nice breakfast room w/​tv. Yogurt, cereals, waffles, eggs, eng muffins, bagels, coffee, juices, milk. Didn’t go swimming, but see that they have a nice pool. I think this is the only hotel in BG, but would stay here even if there were other choices. You can’t go wrong with Battleground Best Western!

Allegedly the only hotel in town, but this place was awesome. Cheap and the rooms were the largest I have ever stayed in. Our fivesome got two queen sized beds, a separate nook for a sofa bed, and a really amazing view of the back lot (colorful fall foilage everywhere). Other people we knew picked the king sized bed with a freakin’ Jacuzzi in the corner of the room.
Front desk was friendly and great for answering any questions we had. Decent breakfast with fresh fruit and a waffle maker. The pool and hot tub were also very clean and great for just relaxing with friends.
