Literary Leftovers

Just learned about Literary Leftovers today and made the trek out to Battle Ground to see for myself. THIS is a used book store!
Really easy to find, LL is located in a strip mall right at the corner of 503 (I guess it’s actually 502 in BG) and Main St. Just find the Wilco/​Ace sign and turn in.
Almost a fire/​tripping hazard, the shop is full, full, full of books. Floor to ceiling on shelves, three rows high on the floor in front of the shelves, and books in boxes on top of the shelves that no one has seen since the Clinton administration.
Steven is the owner and was very helpful and nice. I will definitely keep this shop in my rotation of used book shopping spots.
Only draw back is because his shop is soooooo full, it’s not quite as organized as you might hope. But if you have a little patience, and are sort of limber, lots of good stuff to be had.

Shop owner is low pressure, treats me politely, available to help find a book for you if you ask him, and i love that. The shop is stacked floor to ceiling with books. its narrow, small, crowded. I have always found the book i came in for. The prices are knocked down quite a bit. Buying a book here doesnt make me feel like im splurging. A very quiet cool bookstore.

A great place to find the books you are looking for at a great price. Steve does trades and sells new and used books. We like this store.
