Sushi was very fresh! Service was ok but nice atmosphere, sat at the sushi bar and ordered a couple appetizers and rolls. Beautiful presentation. Wish I had taken a picture… Wonderful fresh sushi. We will definitely be back here!

My husband and I have eaten at every 5 star restaurant in the northwest, Midwest, East Coast and Mexico and this was by far the worst food I have ever had. The food was warm at best and prepared terrible. The tuna rolls were slimy and rubbery. I can’t believe this is a five star restaurant. I will never eat there again.

Prices are good. Went for lunch and everything was fresh. The specialty roll we got(fried shrimp roll) was quite tasty and one of the better rolls we have had in the entire Vancouver area. The lunch teriyaki combo comes with a Cali roll(average), rice, meat of your choice(tried spicy chicken and beef both were good) and side salad. Enough for lunch and some take home. Enough about my wife’s meal onto mine. I ordered the ramen with beef. The noodles were average, the beef was good but that spicy broth was fantastic! I could just get a quart of that broth, no meat or noodles on a cold day and be a happy man. I actually tried to eat the noodles without sucking up too much broth so I could have more broth left over at the end all by itself. Ok that sounds weird but it was really good. All in all I will definitely go back. Pretty clean and service was prompt but not hovery.

U like going here because the food is fantastic. But I do not come here often. Due to one thing, which is that the service is horrendous. Everytime it takes a month to get our order taken then a week to get the food, then a year to get the check. We never come here when we are Hungary. We always show up about one hour before we want to eat. I suggest you do the same to make your experience more enjoyable. This is why I only give this 4 stars

Family owned. Forget the travel to get to sushi buffet where the fish has been sitting out for ??? This sushi and sushi-mi are prepared to order. Beautiful presentations with edible flowers. Seaweed salad is the best. I judge my Sushi restaurants by their miso soup. Delicious!

By far my favorite sushi spot! The fact that’s it is right around the corner from my house gives them major points, too. ;) The Lion King roll is a MUSTTRY. They also have a great spicy tuna and Vegas roll, as well. I love the creativity that they put into their sushi. Tea is great and the fact that your sushi comes out on boats is absolutely adorable. I also love their décor; it fits the theme without being overbearing or tacky.

Got the spicy roll combo. Tested pretty good but a little like it was prepared earlier in the day instead of fresh. Good service. Friendly staff. I’d stop here again if driving down i5.

I love Toro but they always over cooked the Salmon. Everyone is so nice, I think they pretty much all related. :)

I love this place. Their veggie tempura is well seasoned, not just breaded and fried veggies. Delicious, fresh sushi at a reasonable price.

Holy smokes… need I say more. The portion sizes are out of control(loved it). This was a last minute birthday dinner and it was a big hit. Toro Sushi Bento will put Battleground Washington on the map for a sushi joint. The presentation was great, the food was fresh, and the service was fast. The only down side was the warm house Sake lacked a good bite. Can’t wait to go back for the sushi.

Great sushi at average prices. Fresh fish, generous portions and great presentation. The Bento is so-so. The combinations are a great deal(love that Spicy Sushi Combo)! A nice addition to not only Battle Ground, but Clark County as a whole. Worth the drive even if you don’t live in BG!

Only place in BG for good sushi. They give you big pieces of fish for a good price. Quality of the food is good if you order sushi which is usually what I get. I usually get the sushi combination and comes with free miso soup! The Bento boxes are a great deal as well. Least favorite I have tried is the ramen which I don’t feel like it is as authentic and taste like top ramen. Looks like a Korean family owned restaurant. They always greet you when you walk in and say thanks when you leave. Service is not the best when it is busy especially with one main sushi chef. The décor is authentic and teleports you to an Asian world. You seat yourself and able to get a table or at the bar. There are two TVs but they are never on and when I asked they said they are still trying to connect the service. They do to go orders which is awesome. A bad experience I had is that I went in 20 minutes before they were closing and they said they were only taking to go orders… Overall in a place for BG, this is the best place to get sushi within 10 miles. Food 4⁄5 Atmosphere 5⁄5 Service 3⁄5 Experience 4.5÷5

Wow wow wow. I have been to sushi restaurants all over the world and the BEST one by far is in my back yard(not literally but 3.7 miles away) Very very fresh and well presented. Great staff and sushi master is a whoot. I am ashamed to say I have lived near by for 2 years and Friday was our first trip in. I’ll BEBACK!!!

Sushi in BG what a oxymoron! This is my favorite Sushi place! Fresh, consistent and great value. Try the Cherry Blossom!

SLOW service. Very slow. The table was dirty and we had to ask them to rewipe it. I ordered a sashimi combo and it has«chef choice». Well, his choices for me was salmon, salmon and more salmon.

Outstanding sushi, service, and finally great sushi in Battle Ground! The slabs of fish on the tuna and yellow tail were HUGE! The Mt Saint Helens roll was the bomb! Great job you guys!

I’m a bit wary of small-town sushi. It tends to be very hit or miss(mostly miss)… Thankfully, this place is a big hit! First and foremost, the fish was wonderfully fresh and flavorful. The rice was the perfect texture, and all of our rolls stayed together without being gummy. The chef is masterful, and has an eye for plate design. The wooden boats we saw being filled with rolls at the bar were arranged gorgeously, with herbs and edible flowers. The tempura was as fresh, and delicately crispy as it should be. Service was quick and friendly without being overbearing. Our water was always full, and the wait for the food and bill were negligible. The décor is simple and beautiful, and the music is quiet. My husband and I can’t wait to come back, and seeing as we live only a few blocks away, it will be soon!
