Bought fresh milk in here too! A bit over $ 7 but it had a deposit. So good. If you’re curious about any of the cheese, they will let you sample a bit. It’s delicious… They even carry raclette cheese. Few olive oils and vinegars. If you’ve never paired them, try it! Some of the combinations are delicious. My friends told me this place is owned by a young couple, I met the guy and he was so helpful and nice. Try it out, they even do events sometimes!

One of my favorite places to spend time whenever I come into town to visit family. Very impressive selection, great tutorials and descriptions. If you are able, attend an evening tasting event; otherwise they are sure to spend a significant amount of quality time with you privately on a random afternoon. All I can say is thank you for adding your flavor and expertise to this great city!

If you are anything of culinary arts, wine, or fine cheese aficionado, Artigiano is an excellent stop for you. You will be welcomed with a very intelligently trained staff, that are more than willing to help you find a delicious treat to take home.
It doesn’t take an expert of any consumable field to appreciate the wide variety (from entry level tastes to high-​end luxuries) of cheeses, oils, wines, brews, chocolates, and other artisan charcuteries that is offered.
Though they are a high end cheese retailer, that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy it! Their prices for cheese is actually rather affordable for you and a friend to indulge in some high end cheese.
One of their finest touches, is that they are not trying to scam you or make a quick buck. Often, high end consumable retailers will be happy with trying to pair you with only the most expensive wine and cheese. This is never the case with Artigiano’s staff, as they do not pressure you into making a purchase that you could possibly regret.
In Closing — This is truly one of Bay City’s finest shops, worth a trip time and time again!

This is truly a gem in Bay City. The knowledgable staff will educate you of all things cheese, charcuterie, wine, mead, craft beer, etc. The charming, minimalist layout is calm and not overwhelming. This is my stop for excellent, HEAVENLY cheeses that are comparable to those I’ve tried in Paris. They’ll let you sample their varieties if you are leary/​unsure, and will guide you to pairing the best accoutrements and gift baskets. They often have cheese and wine tasting events as well. Two thumbs up!

Great cheese that you wouldn’t find at the local grocery store. The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable. I had bought a bottle of wine and went into Artigiano’s looking for a cheese that would pair with it. He gave me some great suggestions with samples and I ended up with the perfect pairing.

Visited bay city this past weekend and my friend had order a cheese plate for us to eat the night we arrived. It was done so nicely I couldn’t wait to go in the next day. I love this place!!! The owners are very nice and knowledgeable about their cheese. I ended up ordering a plate to take home and got so much cheese for a small price!!! They even customized based on what I like and don’t! I cannot wait to go back and will definitely be ordering a plate every time I visit! Thank you from chicago!

Really great cheese shop! I loved the selection and the free samples when I was trying to decide between variations, this really helped. Owners are very knowledgeable and friendly, great addition to Bay City. We enjoyed both the lunch box and several cheeses we took home. Wonderful.

Very neat shop. They also sell wine and beer and someone obviously put a lot of thought into the selection. When we were there we just picked up a boxed snack kit that had a small cut of cheese, crackers, dates, and chocolate. It was delicious.
