Cafe Cremosi

Very good food. Although it says not kid friendly, we were comfortable with our 5– year old. We do not drink alcohol but the wine selections seemed rich. They have an interesting wait system. Waiters and waitresses work together so you might get attention from different staff at different times, which was not bad at all. Not a big place so reservations are recommended particularly weekend nights.

Had dinner here the other night with my friend and the food was amazing. It’s fresh and very tasty. We had for an appetizer the shrimp cremosi which was amazing and for the main dish we had the sea bass and ravioli with cremosi sauce and both were the bizzomb this place is a must try.

First time to eat here. Food was very good, fast friendly service. Large pasta portions. Will go again.

How have I not been here until now? This quaint little place is just off the beaten path from Midland Street, but has a much classier vibe than the surrounding restaurants. They really set the bar high here with excellent customer service and food that is built from high quality ingredients. The wine list is fairly well stacked, and they aren’t your run-​of-​the-​mill bottom shelf bottles either. Our waitress was incredibly knowledgable on the plates, which helped us make our dinner selections faster. The service from start to finish made us feel special and valued, while the plates were hot and flavors were very well balanced. The portions are very generous as well. Overall, this is a swanky place Bay City is lucky to have. We’ll definitely be back!

We loved it. Great first visit. We’ll go back. Food was very good, atmosphere perfect. I like small and friendly. Lighting perfect, Dean Martin singing Italian café music in the background added to the experience.

I went here for my first time last night and it was amazing! The food was great, service was very polite and knowledgable, and I loved the atmosphere! I’m a vegetarian and had no problem finding something to eat here. Overall one of the best restaurants in Bay City!

First off I have to say I live so close and had no idea this little gem was even there so it’s kind of hard to spot. The staff was so nice and professional. The food was AMAZING! The sea bass and salmon was cooked so well! I was a huge fan of the Sea Bass at Real Seafood but this is so much better! My salad was made table side which was very fun. They have a nice wine selection and the staff has a lot of knowledge on them. If your into sweet drinks, such as sangria I would recommend the Rostello. We had dessert too, a cannoli, and I’m not sure what they do but the cream inside is spectacular. I will be back!

We went here for date night dinner. We enjoyed our dinner the atmosphere is very cozy. I had the linguini with clams very tasty a little on the spicey side. My dinner companion had the chicken parm. With the homemade pasta. Chicken was very tender lightly breaded. I gave it 4 stars because our waitress was a little slow at picking up the dirty plates. The other waiter saved the day by stepping in. Got a little noisy with crowd customers toward the end of our meal.

Very torn on this place… first off the food is very good, and judging on the food alone it would be a solid 4 – 4.5…BUT with that said they have some serious issues with waitstaff etiquette, and efficiency.
The most recent visit was a party of five of us, three showed up right on time for our reservation. The other two about 10 minutes behind. Once arrived we attempted to place an app order so that it would be here once the rest of our party arrived, we were told NO, you cannot order until whole party had arrived. Say WHAT?
Once the other two arrived it took 10 minutes for the server to return and then offer to take an app order, which now we have declined.
So we finally are ready to order, let me tell you, if you don’t ask for a server they will not stop to check on you, even when their are several employees standing around.
We order, 25 minutes to get our side salad, no bread is ready when the salad comes out. We get our bread half through the salad, not freshly baked and barely warm, no reason for that delay.
30 minutes later food arrives, no bread again, we ask, 15 minutes later same pre sliced bread not even warm arrives. Throughout the meal the server was nonexistent and inattentive. It took 2 hours for the meal, poor service, great food. If you go, plan on taking awhile, and don’t expect service. For a $ 150 dinner the expectations of service are high, and not unreasonable to expect it to match the food.
We hope they improve this as Bay City needs more fine dining options.

Great place to dine! Very attentive wait staff, fun atmosphere and incredible food! The Chicken Parm Palomino, was very tender and flavorful. cream of mushroom soup, spot on! I never order dessert… toss that idea out when dining here. The peach sorbet was amazing! Served in a peach, created a beautiful, tasty dessert. Definitely going back!

Just. Get the Chicken Parm.
The Chilean Sea Bass my wife got was fantastic.
Service was outstanding. Our waitress, Teal, was personable, knowledgeable and helped select the perfect bottle of wine.
Closing out the meal with the Italian lemon cake was the perfect end.

Great Food, Best Italian in Bay County that I have found! Service was Great … Ashely was attentive, very pleasant and has a great sense of humor.
Great environment for business, family or date dinners.
They have a very well balance menu which should have something for every taste. Will be going back regularly.

Had lunch with my mom here it was so wonderful I’m headed back with my husband and another couple for dinner. Mom is in a wheelchair and our waitress was so friendly and considerate from holding door for us to all the way thru our meal. We ordered the shrimp appetizer which was wonderful and the ravioli feature amazing! Lovely atmosphere and great background music can’t wait to go back.

Had the shrimp cremosi… soo good… they have chicken and shrimp cremosi main dishes. I came to bay city and just walk in this
woukd be a great date night.im.coming back.

Wow. I mean, WOW! When I read on Unilocal that Café Cremosi in Bay City was a «hidden gem» I thought that the reviewer was going a bit over the top.
NOPE!
My wife and I had a wonderful time and a fantastic meal tonight. Great appetizer, lovely Ceasar salad with homemade croutons and dressing and (She) Chicken Pomo Parm and (He) Chilean Sea Bass. Both were executed wonderfully with plate-​licking worthy sauces. Great ambiance, fun and attentive service PLUS Chef Rich sent out some imported sorbets for desert.
We loved the experience of Café Cremosi and have started planning our return while on the drive home. The atmosphere, service and food at this tiny restaurant tucked just off Midland St. in Bay City. MI made us feel like we were dining in an out-​of-​the-​way bistro in NYC or SanFran. Bravo Chef Rich, Christi and the who Café Cremosi team. Definitely worth checking out.

Three words… Chilean Sea Bass! It is heaven in your mouth, seriously. I tried this establishment based on Unilocal reviews as I was traveling through Bay City. Top notch service, ambiance, and food. All the 5 star reviews are well deserved for this place. The taste and presentation of the food is worth every dime. The only flaw I could find is they are eight hours away from me.
I will be raving about this meal for a long time.

I was traveling for work and wanted something different other than the traditional fast food or chain restaurant. The decour inside of the restaurant was very welcoming. It actually reminds me of something that Chef Gordon Ramsay would have created in one of his kitchen nightmares episodes. The restaurant was very clean and very well kept. The tables appear to be made out of reclaimed wood which I happen to find very appealing. The restaurant itself is not very large which also gives it that welcoming/​comfortable feeling.
I ordered a chicken and pasta dish with their signature sauce and it was absolutely outstanding. You receive a large portion for the price. Their prices are very reasonable for this type of ambience and food.
Other reviews had suggested that it’s a great place for a date night and I have to agree.

A few friends and I tried Café Cremosi last night for the first time. It’s a quaint space, but has a romantic atmosphere. It would be perfect for a date night. They have a nice wine selection and the bartender, Jonathan, was very helpful with entrée selection. I tried the shrimp cremosi with penne. It was delicious! For dessert, we tried the real fruit sorbets, that were also very good.
I definitely recommend checking out this spot, there are a lot of great dishes on the menu and the prices are reasonable!

I was recommended coming here by my mother in law. My husband and 4 friends/​cousins came here for dinner. It was so delicious, we bought food to bring home. I was craving eggplant Parmesan, and it was delicious! Everyone loved their meal, especially the seafood soup!
The atmosphere and décor is great! I can’t wait to come back with just the hubby!
The waitstaff was VERY professional! I was very impressed!

The staff was knowledgable and helpful and the food was delicious. A great Italian dinner on the Historic West Side. I had the Chilean Sea Bass. Subtle, perfectly flaky over a bed of delicious spinach with a champagne truffle sauce. My wife had the Chicken and Shrimp Cremosi in a white wine butter garlic sauce. So tender and juicy! Great meal and a wonderful experience!
