Treated myself to a massage and hair cut/​style.
Massage: Tonia was very good and catered the massage to exactly what I needed. She definitely works out knots! The bed was heated and the room was nicely lit. I felt so relaxed and pampered after the massage. I frequently get massages (2 – 3 times a month) all over the country and this one ranks as a very relaxing one!
Hair: Rosio did a fabulous job with my hair. She genuinely loves cutting and styling hair. I can’t remember the last time a stylist took that detailed care of my hair as she cut and styled it. I felt beautiful when I left! Also love the smell of the hairspray she used! I didn’t buy any but I will next time I’m there!

I haven’t had many massages in the past, but from what I can tell, this was a good spot to go in the area. I used a gift certificate this weekend that I have had for awhile and was happy with my experience. My only thought, the room could have been warmer. I felt a little cold, but otherwise a most pleasant and relaxing endeavor. I will be back when the body calls and will probably consider trying some other services.

My husband and I recently tried out Day Escape for a couples message and had mixed thoughts about our experience. The massage therapists did a good job but seemed more deep-​tissue focused than relaxation-​focused. If you’re looking for a good deep-​tissue massage that wouldn’t be an issue, and even though I had to tough it out a bit I am glad I didn’t have her change the pressure because my upper back feels much better than it did pre-​massage.
The facilities/​atmosphere are what brings it down to 3 stars. The music in the room was quite loud and I thought about saying something, but decided not to. About ten minutes later I realized why it was so loud; we could hear everything everyone was talking about throughout the building (there’s a hair salon at one end). It was difficult to enjoy our massages with all the chattering in the background, most of which was even louder than the music. There were also some sort of machines that would turn off and on every 5 minutes or so that were very loud (tanning beds? I’m not sure). Finally, the sheets on the tables were also very scratchy and uncomfortable. If they could work on the sound proofing and get new sheets, I’d be back because the quality of the service was very good.
