Intermission Deli

This is one of my favorite places in the world to grab a bite. Every time I come visit family in Bay City, we have to grab a sub and an extra large side of pickles!!! Phenomenal staff and hometown charm!

Huge selection, fresh bread, best Deli I’ve ever been too. Everyday the lunch meat is sliced fresh, and so are the vegetables. A choice of four soups are available everyday too.

Excellent sandwich. Authentic sub sandwich taste. I recommend the #3. Awesome. Great soup as well.

A classic deli that has a HUGE menu of subs, sandwiches, and the like. The bread is delicious, and the service is always friendly. They have decent vegetarian options, and the Italian oil they use is their trademark. I recommend adding the guac to your sub, and perhaps a Boylans soda to compliment your meal. The carrot cake cookies are to die for! This is the perfect place for a quick lunch in a casual setting.

Came up for the 4^th of July fireworks and stopped in. Amazing subs, soups and bread! You need to stop in if you’ll ever passing through Bay City!

Stop here every time I come into town. I get the number 22 and the number 18. Can’t beat it. Nothing else compares.

Sandwich is a bit dry. Great selection of meats. Staff are simple to work with. Veggies and meat are fresh. Great sandwich, comparable to a gourmet shop.

This place blows Subway out of the water. The bread is nice and soft, the meat and vegetables are fresh. They have amazing soups with great flavor. The building is a nice place to sit down and have lunch. If you are in downtown Bay City you have to stop here for lunch.

Great deli. My favorite lunch place in Bay City. Great sandwiches. Huge variety. Soups are good too, though some a bit heavy. Service is the best. Friendly, accommodating, fast. Prices are reasonable.

Best damn subs in the Tri-​Cities. Hands down.

Intermission deli (Bay City location) is awesome. My favorite sandwich is the Cajun Turkey, and favorite soups are the Tomato Bisque and Chicken Enchilada. Best sandwich in Bay City :)

Been there more times than I can count. Never had a bad sandwich. Bread and veggies are fresh and delicious. Copious amounts of meat. Fast service. Decent prices. Great place for quick meal. Soups are good too

WOW! I just went for the first time and it was amazing! I had a 6 inch with ham, bologna, and salami with all the fixings! No mayo needed. The Italian dressing is delicious. I can’t wait to go back and try more!

definitely has an «old hippie» vibe. the wait staff is cool though. HUGE variety. i like how everything is a number on the menu so you just tell them what # you want. the bread they use is really good. decent prices. the only downfall is they close at 4 :(

I’ve only been here a couple times because I’m new to the area, but I’ll definitely be back many more times in the future. The soups are great, especially the cheese tortellini. broccoli cheese, and vegetable soups. I don’t eat meat, but am told by the friends I went to lunch with that the other soups are all excellent as well. The veggie subs are great, but I substitute guacamole instead of the Italian dressing/​oil they typically use. All the sandwiches are quite large for a reasonable price. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating each time I visted. UPDATE: I just recently had the tomato spinach soup. I am now hooked on this place any day they have this soup available! It is hands down the best soup they have to offer.

Ive been going here for about 10 years. Bonnie, the owner is a sweetheart. Very cool lady. The staff has always been really nice. They serve soup as well as the sandwiches, there’s a whole list of sandwiches to choose from. Pretty cheap too.

Found a wad of hair on a sandwich here once — that pretty much soured me on the place!

Good place to pick up a foot long sub for lunch, but they close by 4:00 in the afternoon. Subs will come in either 6 or 12 inches, with the 12 incher costing around $ 6.50. They have good service but it’s usually high school or college aged kids working in there, and the owner kind of looks like an old hippie, but he’s pretty cool.
