I would specifically like to comment on Striker’s Bar. The bar on the left side of Washington Lanes. I was with a group of 18 friends, celebrating a few birthdays with some karaōke and drinks. We were all having a good time, drinking and singing, but the bartender at the time would not wait on us at our table. To get a drink we had to approach the bar. She was occupied talking with her two friends(about the only other people in the bar) for several hours. Not the biggest deal, we all had legs and were capable of fetching our own drinks. At exactly 11:30pm, the bartender asked the karaōke DJ to announce last call. When I questioned this call, as karaōke is advertised until 1am, the bartender announced«she had some place to be.» So sorry to interuppt your life with a service job! My group proceeded to finish our drinks, pay our tabs and sing our last songs, as the bartender turned off the lights on us. Sorely disappointed in this experience at Striker’s. I have been there a handful of times in the past year and have always received excellent service. Karaōke on Thursdays and Saturdays is great.
