My wife is my daughter’s girl scout troop leader and she organized a father/​daughter dance with the help of the Fred Astaire Dance Studio on Kane Concourse in Bay Harbor. The studio was super generous in donating their studio and time to my daughter’s troop.
The day of the dance, I got there early to make sure every was ready to go. It was. Stefan asked if we had any preferences for dances. I said the Waltz, which he had us do first followed by the Salsa and Hustle. He was very good (and patient) with all of the girls.
If you’re interested in dance lessons I would definitely recommend giving this studio a shot.

We found this place on Groupon. To be honest, we were not expecting it to be out of this world. WOW… were we wrong. It was AMAZING. The teacher we had, Alexander, was incredible. The studio itself is gorgeous. The location could not be better for a fun date night, with some nice restaurants nearby. We loved every minute of the lesson. We cannot wait to go back. We are Big fans of Fred Astaire!

I was very hesitant to go do «ballroom dancing» and I went to Galina’s private class and LOVED IT. You need to try it. Definitely. It’s fantastic.
Galina explained everything very clearly and made it comfortable, not stressful.

I started taking group and private lessons with Misha and Galina about 4 months ago. I loved it from the start and now now go as many times a week as I can! They are both incredibly talented dancers; and best of all, great teachers. The group lessons are great because they teach you various styles. The private lessons are amazing, because you choose the dances you want to learn, and they adjust to your level and pace. We have dance parties once a month which are great for dancing with different people and just having fun. Galina and Misha also let the students know when and if they are competing in town, I have been to two of their competitions and was absolutely amazed. I highly recommend this dance studio, we have the best teachers!
