Be Our Guest is an excellent addition to the new Fantasyland! The food is very good and the pricing is not too terribly overpriced. If you get a breakfast reservation before the park opens you’ll have early access before everyone else :-)

My family has eaten here twice, most recently last week. EXCELLENT Magic Kingdom food. All their sandwiches are delicious… but for goodness sake, leave room for dessert! We have zero complaints on the food quality. The décor is amazing. Even if you don’t eat there, it is worth your time to pop in and stare in amazement at the three dining areas: the ball room, the rose room, and the very popular west wing. The ball room is the largest area, and it feels the most«cafeteria-like.» We never sat in here to dine. This room does feature the chandelier, and a very cool statue of Belle and the Beast. We most recently ate in the rose room, full of awesome tapestries and other equally impressive décor. A few years ago, we ate in the west wing, the«forbidden area» of the castle. It is, without a doubt, one of the coolest places in Disney World to enjoy a meal. Dark and potentially scary, it might not be the best choice for young children afraid of the dark. Service standards at the Be Our Guest restaurant vary. During our first visit a few years ago, we got in line, the cast members ushered us through the door, we went to a kiosk to order our meals, we found a table in the west wing, and our food was delivered a short time later. During last week’s visit, it was a far less efficient experience. The queue outside the castle was a mess. We had reservations, but I’m not sure this helped us. A cast member eventually wrote the names of parties with reservations on a notepad and called us into the castle and out of the hot Florida sun one group at a time. Once we made it to the«inside line,» the wait was still 20 – 30 minutes. I have a feeling that the folks at Be Our Guest, in the spirit of Disney accommodation, were allowing a large number of groups without reservations to pop in for lunch. While an admirable gesture to make all guests’ experiences as magical as possible, it inhibits the schedules of the guests who were smart enough to plan ahead. Once we arrived at the kiosks, we discovered half of them were either not working or shut down; probably the latter as they were wrapping up the lunch crowd and getting ready for dinner by the time we finished. Nonetheless, we will probably return to Be Our Guest. We love the décor and the food. We’ll just be sure to make an earlier reservation.

Our first time at the latest castle at Magic Kingdom. Seated within 10 minutes of our reservation time was great. Plenty of empty tables. Our waiter quickly got our drink order and delivered with bread. Great food and yummy dessert. I did feel that the one hour between arrival and getting our dinner was a bit long, but it did help with all the bread we devoured. The restaurant already looks worn after only a few years.

Food quality… ehhhh Atmosphere… better then average Lunch time… yes yes yes!!! Dinner time. still wondering what the fuss is all about. Same ambience as lunch time. Food was subpar. Or better yet nothing that I couldn’t get a outback. I can’t believe people are scrambling for reservations. The only thing that was different was the beast was out for pictures. Yup that’s it. Go for lunch. Save money. Yiu just don’t get the beast.

Eating dinner here was a truly magical experience for me, being a big Disney and Beauty and the Beast fan. The theming is excellent, the service is good, the food is delicious, and you even get to meet Beast and take a photo with him! I was in heaven. Food wise, I ordered the strip steak with pommes frites and garlic herb butter. My husband ordered the lamb. We got The Grey Stuff for dessert of course. All our food was wonderful. The steak was delicious and was seasoned very well. The garlic herb butter that came with the fries was so tasty. My dish also came with green beans that were cooked to perfection and tasted so flavorful. I rarely feel like I come across truly good green beans at restaurants. My husband enjoyed his lamb very much. The Grey Stuff was, of course, delicious. I just loved this dining experience!

Pretty good food and beautiful restaurant. This was definitely a place I wanted to try based on reviews I read online. We were seated at our reservation time in the Rose Room. It was beautiful — a life size music box in the middle with Belle and the Beast. My husband ordered a beer and I got a nice glass of moscato — very refreshing on a hot day. For dinner, I got the salmon and my husband got strip steak. The dinner was really good. My hubby never got a steak knife but was able to make due without. The kiddos got shrimp skewers with delicious steak fries. After dinner they wheel a dessert cart over — my daughter got he cookies and cream bar with the grey stuff frosting — not as good as I hoped from all the rave reviews. My son got an éclair — it was actually better than the other dessert. After we stuffed our faces, we went to meet our host, the Beast. He is quite large and cannot handle autographs but he was friendly and the kiddos were not scared. A great place to have a wonderful experience but it is definitely a one time and done.

As soon as I walked up to this restaurant I felt like a kid again. Beauty and the Beast has always been my favorite Disney film(now tied with Up.) You walk up and it looks like the scene of the Beasts castle on a mountain with the bridge and waterfall. We walked in and to the left is the mosaic window of Belle dancing with the prince. You walk into the ballroom which looks exactly like the one in the film. We ate in the west wing which made me even more excited, which I didn’t think was possible. The details were exquisite. The torn fabric on the ceilings, the claw marks through the painting, the rose under glass… We got to eat while listening to orchestra from the film and a «thunder storm.» It was a dream come true! And the food and service was divine. The scallops were great, and we had«the grey stuff for dessert. It’s delicious!

First thing to be clear — all I’ve ever had here is lunch. Folks who I respect speak highly of the dinner experience and as they do lunch and dinner in a completely different manner you should consider that in your choice. As to lunch, the food is pretty good, certainly much better than what you’ll find at most of the other quick service style places you’ll find around the Magic Kingdom. However it is not my favorite place and I come here more because Mrs. M and our family love it. No doubt they would all give it 5 stars.

I’ve only ate here for lunch twice but I thought it was fun and delicious and I had an amazing time with my family. Everyone was very nice and helpful. Love the fast service but felt like a dine in without having to wait for someone to come around all the time. Or spend extra cash on tipping. We use the extra we saved on treats. The chicken French bread sandwiches with fries is wonderful. We split the meals with are kids so later we could have our own dessert. :) I would eat here again! Oh and loved the different rooms. Beautiful restaurant

Fun, new and exciting restaurant addition to the Magic Kingdom. Reservations are a must. Entrees are pricey, so I recommend the Disney Dining Plan to get the most for your money here. Amazing attention to detail and characters come throughout your meal. The dessert cart at the end of the meal is too hard to say no to.

As far as food this place is a 4-star for dinner, but the added ambiance and giddiness I get inside when I get to dine at Be Our Guest makes me give this place a 5-star rating. There are three rooms at Be Our Guest: the main dining hall, the west wing, and another fancier room I have never dined it. I never see it crowed compared to the main dining hall so I think that area is for big groups, and maybe overflow if they have enough servers. I hear you can request to sit in the west wing, but since it was the first time my fiancé was there I would rather sit in the main dining hall because there is so much more to see! The west wing is pretty nifty even though it is a small room because it is darker and of course the rose! Word to the wise wanting the table service for dinner: RESERVATIONS! and very much so 6 months in advance. You could risk constantly checking while you are there that someone gave up their reservation, but do not take that chance if you have your heart set on going here. When you do get there for your reservation you may have to stand in a line to check-in right before the bridge depending on how busy they are. My favorite dish is the shrimp and scallops in the puff pastry, however I have seen that over the years(and looking at other Unilocalers photos) the design of the dish has changed. Whether it be a particular chef on my night over another night, I do not know but so far I have had it two ways. In 2013 I had it where the shrimp and scallops are IN the pastry. As you can see by my 2016 photo just a small puff pastry was served with the majority of the food in a small crock. My fiancé got the same dish so I was unable to taste test any other meals that evening, however I hear they make a great steak! For dessert I ordered the master’s(Beast) favorite the chocolate cupcake, but my fiancé got the grey stuff and I was quite jealous. Luckily since it was my bday our server brought me my own little dish of the grey stuff, compliments of the master. Basically if you like mousse you will love the grey stuff. His was put on top of a rectangular chocolate cookie, but I have seen looking at other pictures that it sometimes comes on top of a chocolate cupcake. Either way both desserts were excellent! If I was not on the Disney Dining Plan I do not know if I would go here based on the price. Yes, the food is good but maybe not compared to other food that you could pay a few less bucks for. You are probably paying more for the experience of being in the castle than the food alone. Do not wander until you finish your meal. You are allowed to look in the other rooms but it is better when you are all done your meal. And after you wander you can make your way to the master’s room to get a great picture with him. They won’t take your picture with Beast until you are all finished your meal because then they lead you basically out of the dining area.

I can’t believe this place exists. It’s amazing on all accounts– service, food & ambiance. What a great dining experience. My boyfriend and I didn’t make reservations(recommend making reservations way in advance) but we were fortunately able to snag a table last minute. We were seated in the main hall which was a beautiful space with high ceilings and chandeliers hanging off of them. I literally felt like I was on the real set of Beauty and the Beast. There was a rose room too where we got to see the rose from the movie!!! Also got to slow dance with the beast which was absolutely the best part. One tip– do NOT try the grey stuff, it is not delicious. Don’t believe me? Ask the dishes. No seriously, it is not worth your $ 5. Regardless, this experience was great and I would recommend it to anyone!

This is the on the ‘must see’ list for Magic Kingdom. For good reason. It’s new and different than everything else at the park. First — Make sure to make reservations. It seems like the day before there are cancellations, so keep checking the Disney app if you can’t get a reservation for the day you want. Second — Self service for lunch and sit down meal for dinner. I can only speak to the lunch, it was a bit of a line to order, but once you order you sit down and they bring the food to you on cool, rolling carts(they give you a plastic rose you place on your table as a locator). Third — Food was average at beast. I mean best. Really, food was cold and sort of limp. The grey stuff cupcake was fun. But you are not there for the food, the ambiance is 5 stars. Oh, special bonus is unlimited fountain soda refills, especially for those hot thirsty days. Fourth — Speaking of ambiance, walk around and explore the different rooms of the castle. Really cool special effects that happen every 10 minutes or so. Fifth — You’ll definitely have the«Be Our Guest» song in your head the rest of the day. Bön appetite!

I have been here for breakfast and dinner multiple times. The first time I went I’ll admit that my entrée was not something I would order again(the dinner shrimp dish that comes in a pastry thing) everything else I have had was fantastic and though expensive was presented beautifully in the most lovely of settings. My favorite place to sit is in the ballroom up under the balcony against the wall. I believe they seat 2 person and 4 person parties there. It’s the dreamiest room and the balcony and wall Make it feel more intimate than if you were in the middle of the room. Truth be told, I don’t really love the rose gallery room. The pictures on the wall are beautiful, but the tiled floor makes it loud. We live close by and we’ve found that it’s easier to get in by looking for last minute cancellations than planning far out. Traditionally the MK hasn’t served alcohol so it may be against custom to suggest, but I have to say that the park becomes even more delightful after a glass of wine or two. Less embarrassment about being a grown adult riding a carousel ;) **** update! If you are a frequent flyer like us, be warned that prices went up. It was a sticker shock for a $ 30 breakfast to jump to $ 60. Would still recommend though :)

I needed to see what all the fuss was about this restaurant was and I sure do not regret it. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking. If you’re a fan of beauty and the beast you’ll notice that instrumentals of the soundtrack are playing in the background. Payment is quick and easy if you have a reservation ahead of time. I had the turkey sandwich and it was delicious. The French onion soup looked very good but ended up being super soggy and kinda off-putting for some reason so nobody in the table ended up finishing it. Florida was hitting around 40 degrees that weekend so it was nice to be able to take our hot chocolates out and warm up. The cupcakes are delicious, make sure you get one if you end up going!

This is one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. We went there for breakfast after being assured you get the same experience no matter when you dine. We checked in and had to order our breakfast on a computer. We were then given a «rose» and directed forward. There was no one to greet us or give direction. After asking we were told to sit anywhere. We then had to ask what to do next after sitting for 15 minutes with no waiter. We had to go get our own drinks and silverware cafeteria style. Our food eventually arrived, cold and barely appetizing. My eggs Florentine might have had one spinach leaf in the whole thing. The«fresh fruit» tasted canned and mushy. At $ 24 a plate I could have gotten a lot better food at most fast food places. Save your money and your expectations. The only good thing was the décor.

Be Our Guest is a fast-casual(quick service on DDP) restaurant by day and table service restaurant at night. Scoring an ADR for dinner at BOG is a bit of a challenge, so if you are not able to do so breakfast and lunch are a great option. In my opinion, this is the only restaurant in all WDW that is a meal and an attraction all in one. You are fully immersed in Beats’s castle. If you grew up loving everything about Belle & Beast, this is a must score ADR. The only way to tour the castle and various dining rooms — West wing room, the ballroom, and the library(point of fact, that is my order of preference) — is by having a dining reservation. I have had the fortune of having all three meals at BOG and all have been good, with Dinner being the best of all. Breakfast can be a bit pricey, but all the food is very hearty so you will easily be able to have a very light lunch or an early dinner. I had the quiche and was quite pleased with the flaky pastry and rich filling. There is a complimentary bread basket that comes with a delightful selection of mini muffins and pastries. If you are not a big breakfast eater, you will be able to share a plate and round it out with the basket and a beverage. I have one tip for both lunch and dinner — Get the French onion soup! If you are on the DDP, the soup can be substituted for dessert or treated as a snack credit. I have never had a better french onion soup. It has a thick layer of perfectly melted cheese covering a full– flavored onion soup broth. I pair this with the carved turkey sandwich and I am in soup and sandwich heaven! I fully recommend getting your own soup and splitting a sandwich between two people as the sandwich is a very hearty portion. The sandwich is composed of a white baguette stuffed with moist turkey breast meat, greens, tomatoes and a garlic herb mayo. I ask for everything on the side and share the turkey sandwich with my son as I have actually had difficulty with him enjoying different foods on the kids menu. My DH enjoys the steak sandwich. Dinner is by far the best experience at BOG. Not only is the meal table service, but each guest will have an opportunity to meet Beast and have your picture taken with him(Belle makes her appearances at Akershus in Epcot). Additionally, this is the only place and dining time in MK that offers alcoholic beverages. BOG has a very nice selection of wines that accompany the menu to perfection. Once again, the onion soup is tres magnifique! Another favorite appetizer is the mussels. The broth is flavorful and well-balanced and the mussels are always of high quality. All meals are very hearty and easily be shared by two less hungry adults or an adult and child. The braised pork, also on the lunch menu, is rich and delicious. The accompanying buttery mashed potatoes make it a wonderful comfort food meal. Dessert — I am a big fan of the grey stuff, but must stay that all of the cupcakes are moist and flavorful. It’s like asking me to pick a favorite child… I refuse to do it. It just depends what mood I am in. Take the plunge, make the ADR, forget the wallet for one meal. If this is your one big plurge on your WDW vacation then it is well worth it!

This an awesome themed restaurant in Fantasyland. It really is so beautiful on the outside and inside. Walking up to it, it looks like the Beast’s castle and it’s so subtle that you don’t even know it’s a restaurant. There’s a small sign on the right of the entrance arch that says«Be Our Guest,» so keep a look out for it when you’re looking for the restaurant. First thing’s first, you pretty much have to make a reservation. We came to Disney World for the marathon in January and we were staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge so we were able to make reservations 180 days in advance. We definitely took advantage of it and made all of our restaurant reservations at that time and boy does this place fill up quick. We made a reservation for dinner at 5:30 and the next day we wanted to try to move it back to 6:30. When I logged on to see the other available times, there were none! My best advice is that if you have the option to snag reservations, do it as early as you can. So we walked in and they gave us a tour of the restaurant. There’s three themed rooms, so they take you through the whole thing and tell you that you can come back and take photos in each room after you’re done with your meal. We ended up being seated in the ballroom which I was so pumped about. It was so beautiful and I just kept staring at the ceiling. Another cool thing about this restaurant is that they serve beer and wine! This is the only place in the Magic Kingdom that you can grab a drink, and you bet we took advantage of it with a bottle of wine. We figured if we’re already here and spending this much money on a meal, we might as well go all out. Oh, did I mention this place is kinda pricey? Yep. I got the steak and my boyfriend got the braised pork. Both were very good but my green beans were outstanding. I LOVE green beans and these really hit the spot. We also got dessert because why not? We got the gray stuff, and it was delicious. I must say that all the other desserts looked super good too. They bring a cart of desserts and allow you to choose which one you want, which is pretty cool. After your meal you get to go in the study and take a photo with the Beast himself! No Belle, though, but that’s okay. It was still super cool since I’ve never seen the Beast at Disneyland before. I definitely had a great time here and stuffed my face, but this is probably a one and done thing for me because of the price. If I ever return to Disney World I probably won’t come back for dinner, but it sure was delicious!

The place is so pretty and the atmosphere is so awesome. But this place is so expensive for what you get. I know you pay for the experience but holy cow for what you get which isn’t a lot it is really expensive. We felt like it is a one time thing. Glad we saw it. The only way to see it is to eat here so that is what we did. We all tried a little of everyone’s meal… everything came out cold! Scramble eggs and bacon — not good Crepès — so bitter and tasted like flour French toast– thanks for the one piece of bread and water syrup Cronut– now this was good! Every meal came with fruit and a tray of assorted pastries. Which the waitress were nice since the kids didn’t like their meals they brought us out 3 trays of pastries. We thought that was really nice and those tasted better then the meals. Would we do it again? Probably not

If you want to go, make a reservation months in advance or you will not get in. There are three dining rooms, each straight out of the movie. You may want to consider this for a more adult experience, as well as some fun for the kids. The experience will only cost you one meal swipe as opposed to two at Cinderella’s Table, and they serve alcohol. I had a full 10 ounce strip steak with perfectly cooked haricots verts and hand cut fries. There is also a very nice dessert cart as well. You will need that drink after nearly being mortally wounded by scooters and strollers all day at Disney.

A couple of months ago(mid-December), we were at the Magic Kingdom at lunch time, saw the huge crowd outside Be Our Guest, and decided to stop and look at the menu since we were hungry. The cast member nearby asked us if we had reservations. We didn’t, of course, but we were hungry. Sorry, but reservations were required. Fair enough, so we continued on our search for food. That night, we started looking at planning another trip so we could try to hit up the new stuff that requires fast passes or reservations further out — like Be Our Guest. We managed to snag one of the last few reservations 2 months out — at lunch time. As our reservation approached, we spoke to some friends who had also recently Been Their Guests. One group had felt underwhelmed, complaining that it had been overly expensive — but they had gone for dinner. Another friend advised that we try to get tables in one of the side rooms, as the main room gets too noisy. We also looked up reviews(on Unilocal,of course), and found a few suggestions regarding items on the menu. Ready for our visit, we had imagined a restaurant and dining experience. What we got was a fancy cafeteria. We arrived at the entrance a few minutes ahead of our reservation as instructed. While my wife was checking in, a group of 17 without reservations came up behind us and spoke to another cast member. Surely, they would be turned away from this restaurant that requires reservations, right? Nope. I’m not sure if policies have changed, or if they had some sort of fairy godmother casting a spell, but they got in — right away. Armed with our hollow hockey puck with a vague rose design on it, we stepped into the line waiting to be seated. The line moved reasonably enough, and we ended up waiting about 10 – 15 minutes before we got to the kiosk where were. no, not seated — where we ordered. No, this was not a standard table service restaurant like we expected. At least, not at lunch. So, order your food at a kiosk — some of which were manned/aided by cast members, some not. If you ordered a fountain drink, you’re on the honor system to just grab a cup and fill it yourself in the dining areas. There are machines in each of the rooms. If you ordered a bottled drink, it’s delivered with your food. You’re also responsible for grabbing your own silverware and napkins from a cart. If you ordered a soup, a spoon is delivered with the soup. As we had been warned, it was really loud in the main room(which vaguely looked like the ballroom from the movie), so we chose to sit in one of the side rooms. The paintings and decorations were really nice and there was a spinning statue of Belle and the Beast in the middle. My wife had been expecting some sort of show or effects or attraction to tie in with the movie. We saw none. Dirty tables were bussed fairly quickly, and there were plenty of table available, but since tables were not assigned, a number of people were sitting at tables not quite appropriately sized for their group. The result was a lot of people walking around trying to find a table for their group. That group of 17 came in and put together about 8 tables to accommodate their group. Food was delivered fairly quickly, and it come on fancy little carts. The servers locate your table using some sort of black magic with either the hockey-puck-rose or your magic band that lets them track where you are sitting. Pretty cool, pretty creepy. Since this isn’t proper table service, appetizers/soup courses are served at the same time as entrees. The French Onion soup was very tasty, but is made with vegetable broth instead of beef broth(and I’m assuming no Brandy either). So, while it’s enjoyable, it lacks the depth of flavor one might be expecting. The braised pork was good overall, but I found that some bits were perfectly moist, and others were overcooked and almost dry. Some more seasoning(pepper, specifically) would have done it wonders. Similarly, the green beans they were served with would have loved some nice course salt. The tuna nicoise salad, however, was just pure disappointment. The greens were nice and healthy, but the dish only included two meager pieces of tuna, and they weren’t that good to begin with. While the soups and pork were fairly priced, the tuna was probably double the price it deserved to be. Maybe the dinner service is exactly what we were looking for or expecting, but the lunch experience just isn’t worth it.

I’ve been to Be Our Guest twice now, once in summer 2013 and once last weekend. Both times were for lunch, so that’s what I’ll be reviewing. The food is decent overall, though I’d say it’s excellent for a theme park. Our order for two consisted of a French Onion Soup, Croque Monsieur, Braised Pork, a fountain beverage, and two desserts. That entire order cost about $ 55, which I feel is pretty cheap for a theme park. The design of Be Our Guest is the highlight. Do yourself a favor and don’t look at pictures or read descriptions before going, you’ll appreciate everything more in person. One bit of advice though, try getting a seat in the side rooms, they’re much more interesting than the main dining hall you first walk into. I’ll definitely return to Be Our Guest, but next time it’ll hopefully be for their main attraction, dinner.

I love Be Our Guest. It’s one of my favorite restaurants in the park. I’ve been here maybe 5 – 6 times. I can even tell you where the hidden Mickey’s are! LUNCH: No table service. Honestly, the only reason why everyone wants to dine at Be Our Guest is because of the appearance Beast makes at dinner. The difference between dinner and lunch is $ 10. If you’re rolling with a big group, trust me, it adds up. I’ve ordered the Tuna Niçoise Salad and the Carved Prime Chuck Roast Beef Sandwich before and I really recommend these. It’s so flavorful! I could barely finish my sandwich… so come with an empty stomach! The Tuna Niçoise Salad was very refreshing and it cleanses your palate with every bite. I SERIOUSLYRECOMMEND the Master’s Cupcake. It’s the lunch version of the grey stuff and it’s 10x better(because the cake part is soft). DINNER: Beast has a guest appearance. You NEED a reservation. They’ll only accept walk-ins if it’s a special occasion or if they have people canceling last minute(usually towards the end of the night). Every time I come here for dinner, I usually order the Grilled Strip Steak but I’ve had the Pan-seared Chicken Breast before. the chicken is a little on the dry side but the pesto sauce makes up for it. The steak on the other hand… they make it so perfect. Whenever I ask for medium rare, it’s done perfectly. It’s never too bloody or too over cooked – just right. The French onion soup is to die for! You MUST try it if it’s your first time visiting. Almost everyone raves about the Grey Stuff(served only at night). But if you want my two scents, it’s overrated. The grey cream part was definitely very sweet and delicious but the brownie/cookie ruined it for me. It was as hard as a ROCK!(everyone that I’ve talked to said the same thing) Even my fork couldn’t get past stabbing it in half. I needed to use two of my hands to force the fork down. Instead, try Lemon Meringue Cupcake or the Strawberry Cream Cheese Cupcake if you want something fruity and citrusy. And order the Triple Chocolate Cupcake if you’re craving something chocolaty. All three are available for lunch and breakfast. I don’t recommend getting anything to drink other than your usual water or soda because everything else is beyond over priced. TIP: THEREISNOGREYSTUFFDURINGLUNCH. Try the Master’s Cupcake(which I actually prefer more)

I tried the grey stuff and didn’t have to ask the dishes! Make reservations early! We tried to book reservations for dinner but the only time available was for lunch. First the host takes your order and then you find a seat. The dining area really makes you feel like you’re inside Beast’s castle! First you walk in the main ballroom with pretty chandeliers on the ceiling and windows that make it look like it snowing outside. To the left is the West Wing! Here you’ll find the famous rose! It’s a very dark room, with paintings on the wall ripped by Beast’s nails, and every now and then there’s thunder and lightning! To the right is Belle’s library! Feel free to walk around and take pictures! We ordered the French onion soup. I hate onions but I love their french onion soup. Weird right? Maybe because it had lots of cheese on top! We also ordered the braised pork and the roast beef sandwich. Braised pork was juicy and very tender. It came with vegetables to make it healthy. I definitely enjoyed it. The roast beef sandwich was good too, but we asked for au jus sauce to make it juicier. It was a little on the dry side. We ended our meal with the chocolate cream puff and The Master’s Cupcake. The master’s cupcake had the«grey stuff» on top. It’s the icing! Definitely had a pleasant lunch here. Staff was attentive and prompt! When you ask for something, they bring it right away! They’re also more than welcome to take multiple pictures for you if needed!

Our family loves this place and mostly because of the grey stuff cupcake, but the atmosphere is wonderful as well you almost forget you are at a Disney World quick service restaurant. We ordered ahead of time online so all we had to do was check in, get our rose, find a table, and wait for our food to be delivered. I love this fast pass concept of ordering food ahead of time then you simply go in to sit down. There are three dining areas, the rose room which is dark and almost always full. We missed out being able to sit in there this visit. The main room resembles the ballroom from the movie, and the last room is portraits of Belle and Beast and we sat there. The croque monsieur was amazing and I remembered it well from our last visit. It is oozy and gooey with crisp bread, ham, and melted cheese. My husband had the roast beef sandwich and said it was just ok, nothing to get excited about, but not horrible. Both kids had grilled cheese and tomato soup and they loved it. The restaurant cut the grilled cheese into strips so they could dip it into the soup. Dessert was what we were all really waiting for with our grey stuff cupcakes. They are really called Master’s cupcakes but everyone refers to them as the grey stuff. I don’t care for cake, but I love icing and this icing is amazing. Better than buttercream and the flavor is out of this world. I would love the recipe-well on second thought I probably wouldn’t love it because I would eat it all the time. There are a lot of great photo ops in here as well.

For a quick service location, this restaurant is pretty cool. I can definitely see how this restaurant doesn’t appeal to certain people. The food selection doesn’t appeal to everyone. I booked the latest lunch reservation I could find, being a 2:15pm. When we arrived there was a long line outside of the restaurant. Turns out that was the line for guests who already had reservations, there was no walk ins for lunch on that date. From the moment we first stood in line to the moment we actually ordered, we waited about 20 minutes. Order beforehand!!! Guest who ordered beforehand did not have to wait in line. You can only order beforehand if you have a reservation through My Disney Experience. All of the pictures on Unilocal really helped narrow down the food options. I ordered the braised pork and my BF ordered the croque monsieur. My braised pork was delicious! The green beans were just a bit too soggy, but all of the pork flavor got absorbed by the green beans. Yum! Mashed potatoes were good too. The pork itself was just a little bit too salty, but still delicious. My bf was having a hard time choosing something since nothing really appealed to him. He ordered the Croque Monsieur since it was the closest to a grilled cheese. I also ordered the«grey stuff» cupcake, which is great since it’s not too sweet. In total for 2 beverages, 2 entrees, and 1 cupcake it came out to about $ 42. The dining rooms are huge. We really wanted to dine in the dark room/library, but unfortunately people were just hogging the tables. About 50% of that room was filled with people just lounging around. The main dining room is huge! The ceiling is absolutely beautiful, but unfortunately this room surprisingly was also full. We ended up dining in the portrait room which was also nice, but not my first choice. Since I had a reusable bottle, I was able to refill my bottle at the fountain drink station.

My husband and I traveled to Orlando for the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend. It was bound to be a busy visit at the Magic Kingdom, but a week prior to our departure, we checked for dinner reservations at Be Our Guest and we scored a 4:50pm dinner reservation. **Pro tip: Always check several weeks before your departure — even though people book dinner months in advance, cancellations pop up and you can score a reso! Also note that Breakfast and Lunch do not have the same fanfare as the dinner service, so keep that in mind(Breakfast is fast casual and Lunch is casual dining). After checking in for our reservation in front of Be Our Guest, we are escorted to some pretty expansive double doors which swing open to invite you to the Beast’s castle. For theming, I will have to give Disney some major props because you feel like you’ve been whisked away into a beautiful ballroom. There are three main halls you can dine in: The Grand Ballroom(where we sat), The West Wing(which features the Beast’s dying rose and his torn portrait) and a third ballroom that I dubbed«Belle’s room» because it features a giant music box of Belle and the Beast dancing and portraits of her many adventures with the household staff. We were seated in the middle of the ballroom and even though we were a full week into January already, the Christmas decorations were still up. No matter! Be Our Guest does serve alcohol only for their dinner seating, so my husband opted for a beer while I went with a sweeter white wine. For our dinner, I opted for the signature dish — Sautéed Shrimp and Scallops with Lobster, Mushrooms, and Seasonal Vegetables in a creamy Lobster Sauce. My husband, however, got the Braised Pork(Coq au Vin Style), featuring«Eight Hour Slow-cooked Pork with Mushrooms, Onions, Carrots, and Bacon served with Puréed Cauliflower and Seasonal Vegetables.» The service was great and both of us were pretty pleased with our dishes and it left just enough room for dessert. Our server wheeled out an impressive dessert cart and we decided on desserts. I had to get the«Grey Stuff» because I’m told it is delicious, and it was. The best way I can describe it is, the mousse is made from Oreo cookies that have been blended into a splendid grey frosting on top of a crisp chocolate cookie. Husband got the lemon meringue cupcake, which was a bit on the dry side but he devoured nonetheless. After your dinner, you can take your time browsing all three rooms, taking photos, and soaking in the atmosphere before you are ushered into a final«exit» room where you can take a photo with The Beast, because he is your host after all. Once you take your photo with The Beast, you conclude your experience at Be Our Guest. Overall, for«Beauty and the Beast» fans looking for a good meal with loads of theming, this restaurant is a must-visit if you’re at Walt Disney World. I’m glad I crossed it off my list but it’s unlikely I would return for dinner — while, I love the film, I found it underwhelming. I was hoping for more entertainment or something that would entertain for the price tag, but I’ve heard that they have undergone many changes since it first opened.

We went here for breakfast around 11 and it was actually a perfect time! We sat in the small ballroom and they closed it shortly after for cleaning so we had the whole room mostly to ourselves. Take a walk around and see the west wing with the rise and the great hall with snow. The drinks are self serve and all you can drink.

I had the opportunity to go to Walt Disney World, Magic Kingdom and to dine at Be Our Guest Restaurant in Fantasyland. This place is a page right out of the story book. The restaurant looks just like the grand ball in the animated film, Beauty and the Beast. The décor and the ambience is just amazing. The main hall has the famous chandelier hanging in the center and the window displays a snowy mountain background. The west wing also features a dark stormy dining room with his slashed portrait and the wilting rose. Seating is open seating so you may be stuck walking about trying to find a seat for your party. I have only dined here for lunch. The entrees that I got to try was the Carved Prime Chuck Roast Beef Sandwich, the wife had the Braised Pork, we shared the French Onion Soup, and lastly the Master’s Cupcake. The roast beef sandwich was excellent. Served on a baguette and a side of pomes frites, it tasted excellent with the horseradish and the arugula. However, it may be a bit on the dry side. The braised pork was juicy, tender, and flavorful. The mash potatoes was also excellent, maybe had a hint of garlic. The French onion soup was delicious. However, best eat while it is still hot or else the cheese layer gets a bit tricky to manage. The Master’s cake… also what you may hear it called, the«Grey Stuff». This is a small chocolate cupcake sized sponge cake with a grey frosting. The frosting is not overly sweet and also comes with mini candy decorations. Overall I give this a 5 because of the ambience and the quality of food for the price. I’ve uploaded some pictures for your enjoyment.

DOHAVE: meat and cheese plate, French onion soup My new favorite restaurant! I felt like royalty eating there. I loved everything! I loved the castle, the service and of course, the food! I had my birthday dinner here and it was truly magical. For appetizers, I had the French onion soup and the meat and cheese plate. Loved both! I would recommend both. For my entrée I had braised pork with mashed cauliflower. Delicious! I especially loved the mashed cauliflower. My husband had the lamb which was delicious with the sauce they had. He loved it. And for dessert, my waiter brought out a grey stuff with sprinkles and sang me happy birthday and we ordered another grey stuff with a brownie. The grey stuff was yummy but the brownie was too crunchy and hard for my taste but I still loved everything! I asked my waiter to recommend a sweet wine for my sweet tooth and he recommended the moscato. It was a perfect recommendation and I had two glasses. The waiter was especially knowledgeable about how the food was made and was very attentive and overall wonderful. He also wished me happy birthday at least 5 times. Such a great waiter! $: it’s pricey but I’ve paid more for less elegant places with crappy service. I think it was worth every penny. If you want that fairytale foodie experience, this is it!

BEAUTIFUL restaurant. You have a choice of 3 rooms and the beast’s west wing is the coolest by far. It’s dark and has the classic slashed through portrait of himself and the rotating glowing rose in the glass container. Do not come here expecting for table service if you are here for breakfast or lunch. You go up to get your own drinks, napkins, and silverware. We made reservations for lunch and you are supposed to pre-order your food. You are then given some sort of device where the staff who bring the food out to you can track you and find you. Once you are seated, your food comes out rather quickly. You sit down, eat, then you leave all in less than 30 minutes. I think dinner is supposed to be a better experience. The lunch menu is not too impressive. The carved prime chuck roast beef sandwich was pretty decent. My friend got the braised pork and she said a couple of the pieces were super dry. For dessert we got the«master’s cupcake» which is a chocolate sponge cake topped with«the grey stuff.» Apparently, you are always supposed to get the grey stuff! It’s nice because it’s not overwhelmingly sweet.

I was not sure I was going to like this and I wondered, «why the hell is it so hard to get into this place.» I have my answer. The place is a ride in itself. You are in the Beast’s castle. It is fairytale land in this place. I went for lunch. I had the carved turkey sandwich. The food: The carved turkey sandwich with french fries was delicious. I was not certain what I was getting myself into as I read various different reviews and some not so favorable. The food was very good and much better than most of the other restaurants on property. Ambiance: It’s magical, looks very upscale and it’s not. The food is brought out in little carts, reminiscent of France of course. The service: Rushed. They give you a rose and they bring your entrée depending on what you order. I don’t know how they found me as you select your own table but they found me and they brought me my food. Rooms: Apparently there are a few rooms. The main room, the one I sat at was the one in there brochures; it is the large room. All in all, I had a wonderful experience and I really truly enjoyed myself. The food was good, the service was mediocre and the setting was superb. I highly recommend this place for a sitdown if you could get in

Wow, what can I say other than it was a pleasure to finally get lunch reservations here. Both kids and adults will enjoy the atmosphere and meal choices. Breakfast and lunch are Quick Service, with dinner being Table Service. QS ordering is done via a touchscreen in the lobby, after which you find a table, and your meal is brought out to you on a trolley. Fountain drinks are found near the entrance to each of the ballroom-like seating areas. It is by far the most unique QS restaurant in WDW.
