Great hidden place in bay point, food is great and the prices are even better. I think they are closed on mondays and maybe tuesdays too so double check the hours before you go, they do close earlier in the day.

Great food, so despite it being out of the way and sort of hidden it still gets busy on weekends. Service is great, come early to avoid crowds.

First time I came here I was not sure if this place would be good because of the area but the food was excellent and I’ve been coming back at least five times lol…

There is absolutely nothing negative you can say about this place except I wish they were open 7 days a week. Some may find seating a challenge at times but thats only because it’s really Good cooked food and everyone wants to eat really well made food. And the service is always attentive even when it’s packed.

For breakfast we had the French toast, it was excellent. It tasted as good as it looks.

Okay so the food was beyond great. The ambiance of the place & its unique surroundings made for a home away from home feel. It was as though we had traveled some place. The staff was extra nice & made great accommodations for my mini. We ordered a lot of food & totally couldn’t handle it! Food was made fast, hot & accurately. Can’t wait to go back. Didn’t view the bill cause a very nice man picked up our check. First time that has ever happened to me. I almost cried, like really. Best spot in Bay Point for breakfast, hands down, thumbs up!

I came for breakfast and ended up eating lunch. The bacon cheese burger was awesome. They were very busy yet after we ordered our food was up in less than ten minutes I only wish that I could have a bite of everything the breakfast looked so good. I will definitely be back. I will definitely try the pancakes and biscuits and gravy

Food is great. However, service is terrible. My second time here is what will make not come back again. I ordered the classic breakfast and tried ordering an order of french toast. Soon enough I was stopped when the owner(at least I believe he’s the owner) asked«are you going to eat all of that?» I said«excuse me.» He said«that’s a lot of food.» I gave up trying to order french toast and just told him to forget it. 1: Always please your customers. 2: If a customer is willing to pay for it, who cares? More money for the business. 3: Make sure you think about what you say before you say it. Working as a server never have I ever questioned the amount of food my customers order. Simply put in the order. Never has a place made me feel so bad about myself. Those two stars were only because the food is delicious but customer service can change everything.

This place gets pretty packed on weekends! The service can be a little slow especially during their peak times and when they are busy. This place really is a hidden gem because it is out near the docks and in a pretty obscure part of bay point. There aren’t that many good food places around, but if you’re around the area and looking for diner or that good ol’ american breakfast food you’ve come to the right place. I usually get the healthy scramble without the cheese. It’s really a guilt free option because it’s just veges and egg whites. You also get to substitute the hash browns for a side of fruit or country potatoes. The New York steak and eggs is also another classic because they give you a nice big piece of steak with hash browns and eggs. You really can’t go wrong. The steak is juicy and the hash browns were crispy and the sunny side egg was runny just how I like it. Bottom line: the place is kind of small, and it’s that mom and pop shop feel to it. The food is yummy and comes in hearty portions, and you really can’t find much good food around theses parts so it definitely gets 5 stars.

My very first time here. What a surprise! We drove down to the marina, looking for this restaurant. It’s at the end of the gravel road. We walked into this tiny place and received a big, warm welcome. They were busy but greeted us immediately. As we were seated, I was reading Unilocal reviews. It happens that Omar was mentioned in one particular review. She had taken a picture with her server-Omar and posted it on Unilocal. Now, what interesting is, I was sitting in the same spot she had been in when taking the photo. What’s more interesting is, she and her husband came in and sat right next to us! Omar turned 10 shades of red when I showed him the review and photo. Fun. Now, let’s talk food… All I can say is A plate full of AWESOMENESS! Delicious coffee to start. One server recommended the coffee cake. We tried it and I’m telling you it is so wonderful. I bake a lot and I love cake but this is better than any I have tasted before! It’s made fresh daily. It is an absolute must try! I ordered biscuits and gravy because I was told the biscuits are made at the restaurant. A half order fills the plate. It was also very delicious. My bacon came exactly how I ordered it-crispy but not burnt. That never happens! My husband ordered steak and eggs. A beautiful and good sized steak came perfectly cooked, juicy and flavorful. All eggs were cooked to perfection. I’m telling you this place is our new go to spot for breakfast. Small, quaint, comfortable feel, nice people, great food… what else would we need? Go, enjoy, review. Bön appetite!

We finally found our favorite breakfast spot! It’s a little hole in the wall tucked away by the marina. We went in on a Saturday morning with the 3 kids. They got us seated quickly and were very nice and friendly. They catered to the kids, making them Mickey pancakes, which they loved! My husband’s breakfast as well as mine was delicious. Not one thing to complain about. This will be our go to spot the next time we’re in the mood to go out for breakfast!

Their Big Ross’s Omelette was pretty delicious. I thought it would be weird having ground beef inside the omelette but was surprised at the amazing flavor it had. There was so much food and I was definitely stuffed. Location: confusing if you’ve never been there before. I came here after a holiday in the morning and it was a nice little cozy(but cold) place to be in the winter. I gotta come back to try more things on the menu!

If I could give this place 10 stars I would. It’s a little tucked away whole in the wall restaurant at Mc Avoys Marina in Bay Point. Everything here is exellent, from the customer service to the amazingly delicious food. The place appears to be family owned and ran and you definitely feel like your at home having a meal with the family with their very warm and friendly demeanor. I’ve eaten here numerous times and have nvr had a bad meal nor a unfriendly experience with any of the regular patrons. Everything is cooked to serve and fresh as if you were having breakfast in the kitchen at someone’s home. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal at a reasonable price.

A bit hard to find being way out at the end of a gravel road on the river side of the Bay Point Marina. Décor is a bit dive-ey, but clean. Food is extremely good. Breakfast all day. Omelettes are made with REAL eggs. Not out-of-a-carton eggs. Staff is friendly and attentive. Coffee will wake you up but you won’t enjoy it. But they keep your cup filled. Prices are average to good and good value for what you get. Don’t let the looks fool you. This place is well worth a visit.

Perfect breakfast spot if you’re living close to the area. Service was amazing, quick, easy, & comfortable! Gentleman had me and the lady seated quickly as soon as we stepped foot into this little breakfast joint. It smelt like bacon, waffles, sausage, omelettes! As soon as we ordered, we were treated with our drinks first! Hot chocolate & coffee! I ordered the Ross Omelette, and my girlfriend ordered the Belgium waffle with strawberries & bananas! Sooooo bomb, we split our foods, it was hearty and sweet! It’s not the largest café, but it’s good for where it’s at. By the docks, in Baypoint. I highly recommend this place!

I like coming here. It is quite obviously a local spot but its worth the trek into the boneyard… This spot is tucked in the boat yard and surrounded by gravel and water. I think there are maybe 10 tables tops in this place. Don’t be scared or shy to eat here. This place is a local favorite and hidden gem for a reason. The portions are huge and the staff is pretty nice. I love the Salmon Omelette and Their country potatoes are just delish. i’ve had a burger from this place but I wasnt too empressed. I like my beef a little less burnt. but still yummy. Take a chance and dive in. You will be glad u made the trip

Excellent customer service. excellent food, and fantastic views. What a lovely place. I will be making a special trip from Sacramento to Big Daddy’s one of these days to have some more of their pancakes. I went in on a Thursday morning with my girlfriend Debbie. She is suffering from inoperable brain cancer; incredibly sad. She is not herself, she is not well. But we went because I know she loves her pancakes and her husband recommended this place. I was incredibly pleased with the friendly, professional, caring attention of the wait staff. And I was even more impressed by the huge pancakes. I also ordered a chili cheese omelet and let me tell you, it was huge and it tasted fantastic. Came with potatoes and toast. The helping was huge, I had to take some home and have it for breakfast the next day. Very delicious. Can’t wait to go back to this hole in the wall, but so worth it. And it’s at a very nice location, right on the water.
